Secondly, you don't seem to have an issue with people making anti-American slams. Don't you think THEY should take it to a non-boxing site? Afterall, I was responding to a couple of pricks who were slamming Americans. Have you posted to them yet?

Oh i do, i am a consistant critic of the british moron brigade on here who claim certain boxers are 'great' on the basis of their nationality and not their talent or resume.

But comments like these are verging on racism and to be honest on another site you would have been banned for comments like these,

Fortunatley for you we are on a forum which embraces racist messages rather than rooting them out, so you should feel well at home.

Personaly, i dont really belive in politics, i belive in people, and i dont support the killing of people who have done nothing to harm me or those i care about, and to be honest, that makes me just as bad as you, because i shouldn't support the killing of people under ANY circumstances.

Okay, fair enough! However, I did NOT mention anyone's race. My issue isn't with members of any particular ethnic group, but rather with people who believe Allah has commanded them to kill infidels. In the case of this thread we had two people making snide anti-American comments and no one said ANYTHING to them. Other than me that is. Now you may very well be a pascifist. I am not. But the fact that I am NOT a pascifist doesn't make me a bad person anymore than your pascifism makes YOU a bad person. That's a question of philosiphy that can and SHOULD be discussed without people getting ugly.

      • If Americans really cared about soccer, we would be the best at the sport already. We still care more for boxing than soccer.

I was at Margarito-Williams and there was an MLS soccer game going on at the same time. More people showed up to watch boxing than soccer and you know a soccer stadium is much bigger than a tennis court...

        • Actually, American's don't like SOCCER because it's BORING
It clearly isn't boring. 5.65 billion people can't be wrong.

The only people who could find it entertaining are those who live in societies where their entertainment options are sadly limited.
Firstly in Britain the number one export is Simon Cowell produced TV reality shows, so the US is getting second hand entertainment from one of those soccer countries. Second Germany is totally not lacking in entertainment. Oompah bands are brilliant, as is drinking masses of beer out of huge mugs.

Sorry, but FOOTBALL is a far more complex sport than soccer....light years so.
Not really. The basic aim is marginally more complex and the rules are more complex ximply by virstue of there being a new rule created every time a contentious issue arises. But the way the game is played is far more formalised in American football, essentially stifling creativity in the way the game is played. Both sports have nuances but the buances of football (the English game) is more subtle and varied than that of the American game. Too many rules and too many stoppages prevent the sport from being as engaging as Association Football.

But anyways, for those of who dont know, this is Francesco totti, and this is why he is iconic.
Kayjay has a point, Totti is not really a prime option for Chelsea. He was a superb player but he's fading rapidly and he's well past his peak.

Maybe that's because Brits lack the intelligence to comprehend the game!
You don't need a huge amount of intelligence to follow a sport in which every single move is followed by a break and an explanation by the commentators.

          2) Ethics: British soldiers dont have a habit of tieing up grown men, stripping them naked and making them pose in disgustin sexual positions.
Every new officer goes through this in their first week at Sandringham!

Neo Cons always describe themselves as "libertarians". Yeah you're well into Libertarianism until Mexicans move into the house next door...

Hey genious, you go to the poorest smallest country in Europe and you will see more diverse sports on cable then you can ever hope to see on ESPN.

If there is one thing we are deprived of on this continent, it is entertainment. Sports, **** and movie wise.

The only thing they show here is basketball, baseball and yank football, and hockey in Canada.

Basketball a game US cant even win no more. And dont give me any of that, "they dont have the best players" bull****.

Baseball dominated by Ichiro and latinos.

The only thing you got left is your beloved football, and guess what, no one gives a ****. And as far as I know, quite a few states couldnt care less about football. I wonder how many people in Michigan give two ****s about football.

                      1) Professionalism: The British military is one of the most diciplined and clincal units around, the SAS, i say no more.

Where as the american military is made up of a disturbing number of trailer trash hicks, with a tendancy to shoot each other rather than the enemy, lol.

                      3) Leadership: The decision making in britain isnt headed by a man who once choked on doritos while watching a baseball game in the white house.

                      4) Time keeping: Dont worry our soldiers will be out of there soon, which is more than i can say for american soldiers, well done boys, not only have you created a civil war in country you supposedly went to rebuild, you certainly have little chance of being able to turn your backs and walk out of iraq without being shot down, aka, get comfy, your gonna be there for a long time.

                      Now behave yourself
We like to see that ****. Don't be a self-righteous Euro prick when we smell blood. You can't do those ****ers wrong.
