This is obviously about money as Team Maskaev stated right when Vitali pulled out of the fight and the wbc made Maskaev/Peter a mandatory. They made the split 55/45 and Team Maskaev wanted 70/30 which is standard for the champ. Maskaev has a lawsuit going against the wbc and doesn't want to sign until it is resolved which makes perfect sense.
