For me it just sucks because it took forever for this fight to be made in the first place. With the Vitali situation and now that Peter gets the shot he deserves Maskaev pulls out. If he didn't want the fight he should have said it from the beginning.Comment

The WBC should strip Maskaev and rule in favor of an interim title match between Peter and McCall. Then the winner of this fight would fight Vitali if Vitali gets past McCline. BTW That would be a hell of a fight. Both McCall and Peter have great chins. I seriously doubt either one gets KO'd. It would probably go to the scorecards.Comment
