Schmeling took a beating for 2 minutes. Louis hit him with about 4 really good shots.
Gatti took a vicious beating over the course of 6 rounds. Mayweather hit Gatti with about 60 good shots.

Roy Jones-Richard Hall, Kostya Tszyu-Miguel A. Gonzalez, Simon Brown-Jorge Vaca, Julio Cesar Chavez-Edwin Rosario, and James Toney-Iran Barkley were all probably worse.
Jones-Hall was the worst beatdown since Caine on Ilena's cousin in Menace.

Robinson was in absolutely tremendous condition for that fight

it was one of 'em.
but trust me, you watch enough boxing, you'll see some fights that were much more one-sided than floyd/gatti.
louis/schmeling 2
dempsey/willard
foreman/frazier 1
cooney/norton
i think these were far worse than floyd/gatti. floyd dominated gatti with skill and speed. louis, dempsey, foreman, and cooney all dominated with sheer size, strength, and aggression.
it really depends on ur point of view. what do you think is the more dominant method? power and aggression? or speed and skill?

That whippin was. you know why?
So many people who knew nothing about the sport thought that Gatti was going to win. I had guys arguing with me that Gatti was one of the best boxers in the world. I made so much money that day it was crazy.

Something like Calzaghe vs Lacy was much worse because Lacy was widely expected to knock Calzaghe out and instead took 12 rounds of severe punishment instead.
