Do You Consider Roy Jones Jr. An All Time Great?

"But he failed to take on the big matches that would have nailed him a place among the greats."-Avila

Do you agree or disagree with this writer?

If Roy had retired after the Ruiz fight, we probably wouldn't even need to ask this question...

            Roy > Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Roy is in the same ballpark as a Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson.

And Mayweather isn't? That's pretty ridiculous, man. Mayweather is definitely better than Roy.

Sorry, Knives, but I can't respect that opinion at all. They have such similar careers, but Mayweather has dominated in so many weight classes against top notch guys. Plus Mayweather struggled in only one fight his entire career when he only had one arm but still beat an elite guy in Castillo.

You can't give Roy that much praise and discredit Mayweather by not putting him equal, if not higher.

It's BS like this that makes me not respect "old time" boxing fans. Not saying you are an old time fan or anything btw.
