Well you might be right about the Boxingscene having him as an underdog since many people tend to vote on these polls from hate.

However Margarito is not a big favorite. I wager online and via local bookies which have Margarito at about -115 to -145. They have Williams at even to +115

Damian500 who lives in LV told me that the Palms Casino now has Williams as a slight favorite. The line is moving.

Nothing personal against Margarito I just think that Williams will beat him and the odds are pretty decent so I'll go for it.

Either that or because nobody really cares much for Margarito or Williams. Who is going to risk losing their money on an unproven guy like Williams? You're hyping this up like Williams is the real deal, but truthfully he's just an up and comer who poses a challenge because he's awkward. I hope you remember all this **** you're talking when Margarito finally gets in the ring with a guy like Cotto.

I think both guys give Mayweather problems stylisticly. Williams more so because of size and shear volume of punches he puts out, but Margarito is a solid welter aswell in his prime. Don't make the mistake of believing that these guys can't compete just because they lack the media hype of the more established names in the sport!

I do remember the Cintron fight and thats the risky part.....well I guess thats why its ********.

We know Margarito has a good beard and a good motor and work rate however Margarito lacks handspeed and has to time his opponents or force them to fight in the box.

Williams also has a good motor and better hand speed. However his chin is an unknown quantity. Williams will try and keep it at a bit of a distance.

But to be honest what sealed it for me was the fact that Williams sparred with Margarito in the past and has been chasing him for some time. This leads me to believe that he saw or eperienced something in those sparring sessions that he believes he can exploit.

Is this a joke? Margarito ducked Williams for almost a year. In 2006, Margarito chose to fight Clottey instead of making his mandatory against Williams. This year he was going to duck Williams again and drop his title to fight Cotto until Goossen gave Margarito a ridiculous payday to finally man up and fight the man who rocked him in sparring a few years ago. Margarito also ducked a lucrative fight with Winky Wright at 154. Your boy Margarito ducks fighters so don't act like he takes on all comers...

Thank you. alot of people dont realize that. Williams has been chasing margs for a hot minute and took the fight right away, no questions asked. now why would he do that? other than of course, he wants a title shot.

Thank you, but the margarito fans are blind to this and call it bull**** old wives tales.
