    Wlad p4p?

Do you think wlad will eventually become a p4p fighter?
I saw this because he's beaten a heavy hitting undefeated good fighter in sam peter, beaten a long reigning hw champ chris bryd, he ko'd calvin brock who was undefeated, i'll forget about austin as it was a mismatch and he then ko'd a dangerous puncher who'd previously ko'd him. So do you think he'll eventually become p4p if he beats another champ or unifys the division.

No, there's just nobody there. This the welter era. We'll probably never remember him.

IS that the best you can come up with?

Anyways, if Wlad unifies and beats up everyone he has in his way he could be in the top 10
Don't forget, Jones was getting his p4p king status for beating bums most of his career.
Hopkins's resume outside of DLH and Trinidad was not garnished with very good quality opposition either.

I agree this is the era of the smaller boxers, from MW down is where the action is and where everybody is watching, I think the public has all but given up on the HW division, that's why everybody wants Sam Peter to take over, and why he was being pushed so hard b4 Wlad derailed him, I like Wlad, but people don't want to see a HW who engages on his own terms and actually box they want to see somebody who's gonna go to war and try to knock the other guys head off, that's what people expect from the HW division

P4P was invented to give fighters below HW more media exposure. So it's really not a list for HW's.

However, if you adhere strictly to the "idea" of P4P, then Wladimir is solidly on the list. I mean, it's hard to find any fighter who uses his left hand as deflty as Wlad. And with the power he gets into a very straight, quick right hand, is scary. Even without considering he's a 240 lb fighter! Offensively, he's certainly P4P in that sense.

If he unifies with the winner of Chagaev/Ibrogamov then yes he should be in the top 10 imo.

I agree. he's definitely nearing the lower echelon of it. one sided beatings over peter,,,byrd,,brock and brewster are impressive and if he unifies he's in
