Right. Watch the Castillo fight WITHOUT your hating goggles on. First round, yes, a fair amount of holding. After some warnings from the referee he was warned and in the following 3 rounds it was all out inside fighting. Yes, Hatton holds his opponents arms sometimes to gain an advantage on the inside. That is inside fighting, go and learn about it. Inside fighting doesn't solely consist of two fighters putting their heads on each others shoulders and ****ing away at the body without trying to defend or gain advantage.

Urango fight he boxed well for the first half of the fight, before the bodyshots took their toll, and combined with the fact that he had a bad chest infection before the fight, i think he's entitled to do what was necessary to win the fight. Collazo he ate punches all night and fought completely the wrong fight.

Dude no hating goggles here. Just explaining what I see man. Hatton held throughout the fight, watch it on youtube. Even the fans booed at certain points when it was obvious Hatton wanted to hold (and I am not refering to when the fans booed while the ref was contuining to warn both fighters)

Inside fighting has nothing to do with holding. Did you watch the Kostya Tsuzu fight. If there was a compubox stat for holding and grappling. Hatton would score more than punches.
I just see that certain fans are blind to reality. I dont mind you being a hatton fan. But excusing his excessive grappling is insane.

6 i think............................................. ... and as i said, when he boxes he does it good but as he knows he is not going to be succesful with that style in the upper level of the sport, or maybe because he tires doing that, he resorts to his crap hold style................

plus all the times he talks about floyd, when hatton has clearly been ducking him for 2 years, and im no mayweather fan, you can ask, but i find it extremely cheap to talk about someone but not wanting to fight him...especially when Hatton suposedly is a nice person.....(and his style also proves hes not...his style is dirty and ilegal or should be illegal...)

Of course none of this will probably happen.

If this fight happens, it would be a total mismatch. Hatton is 5'6" and has a 66" reach. DLH is 5'11" and has a 73" reach. If Collazo was too big for Hatton to muscle around, how the hell will he handle DLH? Plus, DLH has the power to knock him out. I honestly would have no interest in seeing this fight as it wouldn't be competitive.

Hatton has a better shot of beating Mayweather, but I'm sure he'd fight DLH if the opportunity came up just for the money. This fight does nowhere near the numbers DLH-Mayweather did. It's a total mismatch...

According to a popular website (which I can't name here, you should know what site) states that Oscar and Golden Boy promotions has shown a strong interest in fighting Ricky Hatton for his next bout!
Wow I was shocked by this one. Hatton is at 140 and DLH couldn't make 147 even if he stopped eating for the rest of the year.
Do you all think he really wants Hatton?

Obviously DLH-Winky doesn't compare to DLH-PBF, but Cotto and Hatton would be somewhat close. DLH-Hatton would be on PPV in both countries (DLH-PBF was free in the UK, wasn't it?), so there's something to be said for that. It would be a mega-event. Same with Cotto, although on a lower level.

DLH vs. Hatton or Cotto would do around 1.5 million buys in the US, whilst Winky would probably do about 1 million.

DLH always has options...and he can still fight a bit, which is great for boxing.
