Hatton held castillo more than he hammered him. Watch the tape ppl in the crowd booed 3 or 4 times when Hatton went back to holding and ****.
Nothing is wrong with us. What is wrong with you? Boxing would be the last ranking sport if every fighter fought like bitchmade Hatton holding and **** the whole fight.
Seriously he grapples like he is in the UFC or WWE or something. Do you watch his fights?
not bein funny fella but i have saw all 43 of ricky hattons fights. Ricky ko'd Castillio with a wonder dig to the kidneys, something that no other fighter on the planet had ever managed to achieve
I admit, Ricky didnt look good against collazo or urango but he still won 2 world titles at them fights
Now answer me this, if Ricky Hatton can't fight and all he does is hold, then why has he not been beaten in 43 fights and thousands of people will pay fortunes to travel round the world to watch him. Ricky hatton gets more people travelling to see him than any other boxer in history

Interesting fight, but I would rather see Mayweather and Hatton fight. Plus, the last time De La Hoya fought at 140 was back in 1997.

Wow I was shocked by this one. Hatton is at 140 and DLH couldn't make 147 even if he stopped eating for the rest of the year.
Do you all think he really wants Hatton?
OR is he is trying to player hate or piss on Mayweather's potential bout with Ricky Hatton? Just to mess with Mayweather lol

Who would win DLH or Hatton?
                Ridiculous matchup IMO..

First to answer your question I never said Hatton couldn't fight. He just holds entirely to much. His strategy (watch his fight) is to hold until he is ready to punch. His opponent has no defense to this b/c his arms are being held.

Ricky Hatton punches get through b/c how can you dodge or block a punch when you are at the same time trying to pry your arms from this clown? Hatton has mastered the timing in holding his opponent until he is ready to throw his punches.

John Ruiz won world championships. Who cares? The general consensus is Hatton is a holdoholic.
Fight and stop holding thats all I ask

i'd disagree, the consensus in america with people who have seen him fight maybe 3 times is that he holds. The feeling in britain is that hes an exciting fighter who although doesnt get it right every time, he gives 100%. hence 10 000 fans crossing the pond to watch him. 10 000 people can't be wrong
