DLH vs. Hatton or Cotto would do around 1.5 million buys in the US, whilst Winky would probably do about 1 million.

DLH always has options...and he can still fight a bit, which is great for boxing.
actually I disagree I think that DLH would not top 750k buys with any fighter other than a Trinidad rematch (possibly) and a mayweather rematch. I think Oscar's popularity isn't as great as perceived. Granted his last fight with Mayweather broke records but remember he lost that fight. Now i could be wrong but I just think DLH doesn't have very many viable opponents that ppl want to see him fight.
Cotto vs DLh doesnt make sense to me neither does Hatton and DLH
DLH may just retire I don't see the general public buying into these fights with smaller fighters who are building their own legacy

Why don't we just have DLH fight manny pacquaio if thats the case. j/k

Cotto and Hatton are nowhere near the popularity of even Trinidad. Those fights do a million buys or so at best.

Cotto-DLH would be an interesting fight, at least. Hatton loses a lopsided fight and Winky wins a lopsided fight...

Inside fighting has nothing to do with holding. Did you watch the Kostya Tsuzu fight. If there was a compubox stat for holding and grappling. Hatton would score more than punches.
I just see that certain fans are blind to reality. I dont mind you being a hatton fan. But excusing his excessive grappling is insane.

I've watched all but a few of his fights, and they were the ones much earlier in his career. I've watched the fight about 5 times. In round 1, holding, some boos amongst the cheers. Round 2, it's cleaned up a little. Second half of round 2 onwards it's all inside fighting with a hell of a little cheering, i didn't hear no boos after that.

I'm not excusing his holding, it was the totally wrong approach in the Collazo fight, and if i was a non-Hatton fan i think i would have turned off the TV in the second half of the Urango fight. He fought Castillo and went a long way to getting back to his normal fighting style. The KT and JLC fights had some holding but also an awful lot of throwing.

His fights pre-Tszyu had very few holding and alot of bullying and boxing. Give him a chance and the benefit of the doubt regarding the Collazo and Urango fights.

I think DLH is too old to be moving around in weight,
but Hatton could maybe move up, I dont see that happening

PBF should give Oscar the rematch

True but that fight wasn't hyped anywhere near the level of the Mayorga fight or the PBF fight of course. The Mayorga fight was hyped because it was Oscar's ring return after a year and a half off.

Keep in mind he did over a million buys with Hopkins, who had a following but nothing like Hatton or Cotto. That's my reasoning as to why DLH-Winky would do a million, because it's a big fight and DLH would carry the promotion to that number of buys.

Cotto and Hatton bring their own fans to the table.

The Mayorga and PBF fights did so well because those fights had a good vs. evil theme to the promotion. Against Hatton or Cotto, you just don't have that. They bring fans, but not enough fans to get close to 1.5 million buys even with all the hype in the world. Are you saying these two fighters are more popular than Trinidad?

Oscar wants to fight everybody that has market value... Hatton is hot right now he is going after him... He has lost my respect as a fighter cause his priority is getting more and more money and not to be the best in the sport... He'll lose every fight he'll get into just to make money...
