I've read an unconfirmed report from another boxing forum that DaVarrell Williamson's fight tonight is a warm up to become active again, to help prepare him for a fight with Povetkin in a couple of months.

Today the Russian news media is reporting that Povetkin's next fight will be in the USA.

The reports state it may be on the undercard of Pavlik vs. Taylor or Maskaev vs. Peter, and so be televised by HBO. They also speculate that the opponent may be Lyakhovich or a young American heavyweight prospect.

He needs to fight Dimitrenko for me to take him seriously.

I'm sold on Povetkin, but I'm not sure if Dimitrenko will become a top contender or a perennial fringe contender like Krasniqi. We won't know until he fights a bona fide contender.
