What a sorry statement. Anyone who is familiar with Floyd's career can see that Hatton could make things very difficult for him. I see it playing out like the Chavez fight only Hatton is bigger and stronger than Chavez, and less likely to be hurt by the smaller man.

The smaller man? Floyd is taller, more muscular and has fought in the higher divisions. Hatton will probably outweight him on fight-night by a few pounds, but don't fool yourself into thinking he's going to be significantly bigger or stronger. No doubt Hatton is bigger and stronger than Chavez, but Floyd is bigger and stronger than he was against Chavez also.

          Please note, Squeal.

A very lean and fit Mayweather walked into the ring vs. Oscar at nearly 150 pounds.

Lil' Floyd ain't so Lil' no mo'.

and look how many clear shots did Chavez took. and many of the flurries that Chavez was doing didnt put effect on Mayweather.

why is Hatton talking **** after winning a person at his end of his carer and different weight class that he not used to use his style on that weight class as well as didnt preforme against his last fighter.

Here is the facts at 140 Mayweather easliy won Aruto Gatti and many of the people he fought stayed in the same weight class trying to enjoy ther power there but Mayweather went up in weight to show what is boxing is all about.

Hatton after is bad enterance at 140 against Callzo he straight away went down. okay we would say that Callzo was a tricky southpaw boxer but when Mosely won him then there is a question mark put on top of that sitaution, It is that could Hatton hang around the elitie boxers for too long? someday there going to be some prosecpet with good potential going to easliy win Hatton and that is a big chance if he doesnt fight Mayweather.

              Easy Mas,

You make a good point. Alot of people were giving credit to Luis Collazo for nearly beating Hatton. LC elevated his status in a loss.

And then Shane Mosley showed exactly what Luis Collazo is: an average welterweight. Very average.

He walked in at 149 lbs, the same weight that Rick walked into the ring for a jr welterweight bout. Ricky at Welterweight would be likely to enter the ring weighing around 154 lbs. Floyd had to put on weight to weight 150 lbs, not take it off.

That was several years ago. Since that time, PBF has become bigger, his body has matured, he has fought bigger men, and he has just become a STRONGER fighter.

Ricky Hatton has not - AND COULD NOT - hang in the ring with men as big as Baldomir and Delahoya. Do you feel that Hatton can go 12 with Oscar?

If Ricky Hatton's gameplan is to try to maul PBF, I think he will find some unpleasant surprises in the ring.

And for those posters who don't remember the Baldomir fight very well, I submit this reminder:

Where exactly was all this "running"?
Only in smell, brown adrenalin from Pretty ordinary Floyd on November 10th.

Because he wants a big payday.
Plus i actually believe Hatton wants to fight the best and believes his style can really test Floyd.
                      He believes he can win.
