Floyd Mayweather is stronger than Ricky Hatton

I've noticed that many of you refer back to the first Castillo fight as the formula to beat Floyd. May I offer a reminder: Castillo was a BIG lightweight, and PBF was just moving up from 130.

That was several years ago. Since that time, PBF has become bigger, his body has matured, he has fought bigger men, and he has just become a STRONGER fighter.

Ricky Hatton has not - AND COULD NOT - hang in the ring with men as big as Baldomir and Delahoya. Do you feel that Hatton can go 12 with Oscar?

If Ricky Hatton's gameplan is to try to maul PBF, I think he will find some unpleasant surprises in the ring.

And for those posters who don't remember the Baldomir fight very well, I submit this reminder:

Where exactly was all this "running"?

I didnt read the post, but the title isnt true...

Just Cause Mayweather is taller or bigger doesnt mean hes stronger. Hatton at 140 is probably the strongest guy in the division, and at 147 hed be stronger then Mayweather IMO

If Hatton tries and mauls Mayweather,Mayweather will seriously damage Hattons face, watch the Chavez fight and the brutal shots he took trying too throw 100 punches a round,Mayweather would slice up Hattons face

Mayweather nearly got KO'd by Corley and against Castillo he clearly lost, everyone on the commentary team saw Mayweather lose that fight by 3 or 4 points.

You guys are overrating mayweather because of his wins against old men and bums.

The reality is Floyd is vunerable and could get exposed.

                KBall,

Do you think PBF can be outmuscled and hurt by Luis Friggin' Collazo?

btw, I can kill for some Red Lobster cheddar biscuits right now.

IDK man, I think he's right. I dont think he was using the division thing as the example but he was just saying that Floyd has looked stronger at those weights. I think he may definatly be stronger then Floyd. If you look at his build then he seems very strong and you rarely see him just get bullied or outmuscled by someone anymore.

Also, I rewatched the Hatton & Collazo fight and the main problem Hatton had was that he couldnt bully Collazo as much as he wanted too. In alot of those clinches Collazo would actually push him back & fire a 1-2. I know one thing, he better be stronger because if he cant outmuscle Floyd then he has no chance at all

Hatton has one and one chance. Same as castillo going to the body and hope to hit the liver.. Note Hatton tried that all night against Castillo. I hope Mayweather pulls this tough Hatton and retires next. There is also Cotto but He will be weary and a bit old for Cotto imo. Because these fights take 1 year to plan and 1 year hype.
