Haha yes, Floyd is well up for fighting Margarito!

If you think that Hatton would be Floyd's easiest fight you're high or something.

Hatton is a slugger and not that good one and Mayweather is a boxer.

usally in laws of style boxer > slugger.

as for the money it is good money too consider the other fights but it depends on how Hatton really wants it. he should be fighting in Vegas

Hatton is a pressure fighter / volume puncher, and usually in the laws of the style of boxing volume puncher > boxer. Boxers don't have the power to interrupt the volume of punches. Pure boxers usually beat pure punchers because they don't get caught clean and can pick off the puncher with counters. Volume punchers get hit too often to be able to overwhelm big punchers. The power difference means that swarmers usually lose to punchers.

          boxer > puncher > swarmer > boxer.

          Think of it as rock-paper-scissors.

            ....................

Hatton is overhyped just give it time...embarrassment will follow..........and thats a myth ....hatton is not a volume puncher...he hits and holds....and its a fact that boxers beat for the most part volume punchers....plus volume punchers have short boxing carrers.....Hatton is not a volume puncher....like margarito and williams....boxer > most styles....volume punchers take alot of punishment....by there 3rd big fight they get whooped...from so much punishment....boxers have tough fights against quality volume fighters but than they get figured out and get knocked out late in fights by boxers...boxers bother boxers the most ...how many great volume fighters are there...even henry the great armstrong volume fighter got beat by robinson a boxer......

If you really believe this, why doesn't Hatton? The fighters that Hatton has consistently ducked have all been pure boxers. He has ducked Mayweather for years, he has ducked Witter for some time now, and he even ducked Sharmba Mitchell back when Mitchell was the man at 140 while Tszyu was injured. Hatton clearly doesn't feel he can beat the top boxers with his style and if he fought Mayweather it would merely be to cash out. He knows he has no chance. Mayweather owns every conceivable advantage over Hatton...

I agree that Mayweather is not the stronger puncher also. He will still have the advantage given the fact that hes faster and better boxing skills. A fighter can be a good puncher but hes has to be able to catch his target first. Mayweather knows how strong Hatton so hes gonna make sure not to get in the way of his power punches.

Hatton is not a power puncher at all, he's a swarmer/smotherer with a good left hook to the body, quick hands and excellent footwork. This is yet another thread based on levels of ignorance I struggle to believe.

Seriously, some of my mates aren't even boxing fans but after watching 1 fight would make more sense than the juveniles crawling round playpen Boxingscene. Educationalists both sides of the Atlantic are weeping into their robes right now.

                  ****ing pathetic.

EDIT: Apologies to the guys for whom this doesn't apply. I know who you are, you probably know who you are - you won't be in the red for a start and you won't have started threads in this vein etc etc.
