Floyd Mayweather is stronger than Ricky Hatton

2007,Mayweather nearly got KO'd by Corley and against Castillo he clearly lost, everyone on the commentary team saw Mayweather lose that fight by 3 or 4 points.
You guys are overrating mayweather because of his wins against old men and bums.
The reality is Floyd is vunerable and could get exposed.
If you say that he "nearly got KO'd", then I believe that you didn't see the fight.
DID PBF EVEN LOSE THAT ROUND?
Here, please watch that round for the FIRST time. It's after the 3:00 mark:
My opinion on Castillo 1: when a guy gets a questionable decision - or even a gift decision - he knows it . He takes his victory and keeps it moving. HOWEVER, when you know that you are better than a guy, and that you beat him... then you rematch that guy immediately and prove to the world.
Which did Floyd do? Did he avoid a rematch or did he beat Castillo AGAIN just a few months later?
Thanks in advance for your reply.Last edited by DIOS DOMINICANO; 06-30-2007, 02:54 PM.Comment

I was seeing the same thing. So I thought that Collazo may just be an unnaturally strong guy (kinda like Calzaghe). But then I saw him fight SSM..
Also, I rewatched the Hatton & Collazo fight and the main problem Hatton had was that he couldnt bully Collazo as much as he wanted too. In alot of those clinches Collazo would actually push him back & fire a 1-2. I know one thing, he better be stronger because if he cant outmuscle Floyd then he has no chance at all
Hatton won't be the stronger man in the ring.Comment

Thank you...
Funny how anyone who brings up Castillo 1, in favor of Castillo, elects to leave out the rematch. Happens every time.2007,

The question should be, what happened to Castillo in the rematch?

I think I actually agree with the thread starter. I'd also like to add that he has a better chin than Oliver McCall and hits harder than Julian Jackson.Comment

I think Mayweather is stronger than people give him credit for. He fills out at welterweight well enough.
The video with Baldomir is a pretty crappy comparison though. Baldomir is plodding and he has slow hands. He also doesn't attack relentless with high volume. Hatton fights a much different style than Baldomir, and that video is no comparison. Hatton is also a much better fighter than Baldomir.Comment
