What about the size difference between Briggs and Ibragimov, or between Chagaev and Valuev? Was that fair? Who won those fights, was it the bigger men?

Was it fair that Lennox Lewis, about the same size as Wlad, fought a smaller heavyweight in Rahman who KOed him?

chagaev and ibragimov were smaller but more skilled than the bigger men they fought, brewster is less skilled than wlad but brew has heart and he can punch. brewster has a puncher's chance, if he can get close to wlad and deliver the goods

rahman lives and dies by the right hand, brew by the left, but rahman doesn't have brew's heart

I agree, I like Brewster for that reason: he has more heart than most boxers. I kinda hate to see him lose, even though Wlad is my favorite fighter. He deserves a better fate than what's going to happen on July 7. I hope he doesn't retire, he's able to beat all but about four or five heavyweights.

a prime brewster beats all the hw "champs" except wlad. if he looks good in this fight, brew might get a shot at another title, maybe someone he can beat.

Well, the best prospects (Povetkin and Chambers) and two titleholders (Chagaev and Ibragimov) are all slightly smaller than or the same size as Brewster. Today, Povetkin beat a bigger man in Donald.

We don't need a super heavyweight division, the best of all time were not so tall: Tyson, Marciano, Holyfield, Frazier, Tunney, etc. We DO need to stop making excuses about size when the Euros beat Americans.

brewster is much shorter than wlad but hes stocky. he's in good shape in the mid 220's. he's much too big boned to weigh under 220
