Wlad says he's been trying to unify? With who? What fights was he trying to make?
Brewster will give everything he has; he has a very big heart. He's also been out of the ring since April of 06. Tough 1st fight back...
I'd like to see him try what worked against Golota - come at Wlad right away, see if something lands, and if it does, try to score even more KDs than Corrie Sanders got on WK...
What I think is more likely, though, is Brewster getting battered consistently and TKO'd midway through the fightComment

Why can't you guys get that none of the other champs want a piece of Wlad.
Wlad, in the perspective time, tried to unify with Valuev and Briggs. Both lost their titles WHILE he was already preparing for the Brewster fight, and this is not in Wlad's nature to call out fighters WHILE he is already preparing for another fight.
It's so easy to blab around that Wlad is ducking, but I don't see other champs calling him out or even expressing a slight interest in fighting him. But this is a typical boxingscene response to put down a fighter without much evidence, just on a bare thought.Comment

I don't believe for a second that Wlad is not contemplating unification sometime in near future; I think that he's just wholly focused on the task at hand called Lamon Brewster. This fight is probaby one of the most important in Wlad's career and he's taking no chances in any interuptions in his mental focus. Having said that, I think that this fight will be a huge 'mismatch' as was his fights with Brock and Byrd...Comment
