I think it most certainly can go 12. Ive said this before:

Wladimir is now very cautious. Brewster can take a punch, and has an UNCANNY ability to take punishment. I speculate that for him to be stopped, it would take a very high volume of hard power shots. Even when Brewster is hurt badly, he's still dangerous. I dont think that Wladimir is going the throw the amount of punches it would take to stop Brewster. In other words, I dont think Wladimir is going for the KO, its too high of a risk.

I bet you 10,000 points that this fight will not go the distance and it will end in a KO or TKO for Wlad. Okay?

Im not saying its a sure thing. Anyone can get stopped, I agree that Brewster will take a beating. Explain why you think I'm wrong.

Wlad's wins have come mostly because of his power - he has 43 KO's. He is not going to change his style very much for this fight - he wasn't KOed by Brewster in the last fight, he had some kind of blood sugar problem and he ran out of energy. Remember, he almost KOed Brewster in the 4th round of their last fight, another round like that and Brewster would have been done.

a lot of refs would have stopped the fight by that 4th round becuase of all the punishment brew was taking. not sure why a few people think it will be so difficult for wlad to stop brew. brew does have a good chin and great great heart but he can surely be stopped by a focused measured wlad. as awful as he looked last time he still came within a hair of a stoppage win

I don't see how this fight can go the distance but I guess the differing point of views here is what makes boxing discussion interesting. Anyway, Wlad IMO is a much different and more complete fighter than the version that lost to Brewster several year ago. I agree that Wlad is more cautious and patient, and Brewster should try to exploit that, but he also has much better technique and knows when to pick his spots. As for Brew being able to take alot of punishment, well Klitschko can sure dish alot of it and will be looking to end the fight early to avenge his first loss. Plus, I guarantee that Manny Stewart will pressing Wlad to go for the KO when the time is right and we know after the Brock fight that Klitschko listens to his trainer...

wlads power is much more effective when he's just sitting back on his jab and picking his spots,, looking to counterpunch rather than being the aggressor like he was last time. this is why I think he stops brew within 7 rounds. I think he'll catch brew coming in at some point ala brock,,,jefferson etc

Yes, I think the stoppage will come in a middle round - round 5 to 8, but not 1 to 4 - because he will be a bit more cautious and pick his spots. He will be very focused, winning this fight is vital to his legacy.

Why is V. Bookie not working?

I wanted to put lots of cash on Wlad by KO,

I cant see the fight going 8 rounds, im no expert, but Wlad by KO.

I'm picking Wlad by early-to-middle KO, but in fairness to Derranged a decision is possible. Wlad doesn't often go the distance but brewster like Peter is a guy who might just eat the punches for 47 minutes
