I would play Galatasaray if I were a City player with few concerns for my safety. Floyd is not a fan, he's a player. Thirdly there has been very little trouble in the English top flight in the last 20 years. I haven't seen so much as a coin thrown in anger since 1985 at any top flight games and the police presence is insane at the games nowadays. The lower league still sees some trouble but no major event at either Wembley or the City of Manchester Stadium would be as small as that. Finally boxing hooliganism is a total non-issue.
but he is a player in a small staduim and you could see hoe it could go out of control easily e****aly if the player is really hated even by his own countrymen

I more concern about safety after all it no use having $20mil if there is possiablity i going to be on a wheel chair is it.

and if they are going to fight it most probably going to be in Manchester if you seen ofcourse the Tszyu fight and how the crowd reaction imagine if a ****y person like Mayweather what it would be he could be injuried even before entering the ring the crowd it too close to you and with a hostil enviroment but if they fight in Vegas the hostile enviroment is lower and brits are happy the fight have happen and could watch it on tv and Hatton is fghting in Mecca of boxing with lot of publicity. here everybody is happy e****aly Hatton because Mayweather is now the top dog in boxing he has right too choose who he wants to fight.

What if Witter called out Hatton to fight in Shiefield that guy been calling out for long time, I accepted Hatton to refuse the offer because he is the top dog at 140. he could choose his oppoenet

I wouldn't have any worries about being injured by anyone not in the ring at the time. At least it isn't legal for the British fans to carry guns!

We're a raucous lot at times but we watch our bloody team lose week in week out without going wild, so I'm sure Floyd will be safe.

To say there was a "riot" after Hagler punished Alan Minter is an understatement. The crowd was a racist lynch mob from the start, chanting the obvious slur throughout. After Hagler TKO'd Minter he got to celebrate the undeniable win sprinting out of the ring in a hail of bottles and various foreign objects thrown by the crowd. Hagler would have been lynched with his new middleweight title if he didn't haul ass out of there.

Now, that's not to say this type of thing is limited to England, cause it's not. However, a Mayweather vs. Hatton fight in England presents a situation with all the same variables and opportunity for a mob mentality. As a result, I don't think Floyd has any reason to be excited or happy about a fighting in England.

Regardless of location, one must question if a white boy would be terrified standing in a ring surrounded by 25,000 black guys all chanting "cracker"?
