If you want to know the truth about the Minter - Hagler fight I can tell you as I was there.

It was a disgrace to be honest and shameful however the Americans were not blameless, after Hagler stopped Minter, one of the Hagler entourage goaded a small group of Minter fans and then began waving the US Flag.
This did not help matters, however what followed was disgraceful and terrifying for me aged 8 (I got over it)

Also there have been riots in almost every country during fights, I can remember two off the top of my head Golota v Bowe and Tyson v Holyfield II so....whats the point here?

If the money is better in the UK a fight there should be considered, Hatton has fought his last three in the US, has Floyd ever boxed outside of the US?

Its a world sport and a true champion should be able to fight anywhere in the world.
