People who hate Ricky Hatton are the most pathetic losers on earth. It amazes me that some people spend so much time hating on certain boxers. Fighters like Hatton who go in the ring and take hard punches from their opponents are the most courageous people in sports! The people who hate them are cowardly slimebags who wouldn't have the balls to fight in a ring.

I used to love Ricky and I still watch his fights, obviously, but if you do not criticize the parts you don't like then that fighter will never change.

For instance, we all know that Hatton reads forums because he's jokingly refered to himself as Fatton, as they do on the forums; he even said he read it there and thought it was funny. Maybe if we all ban together and ask him to stop clinching and fight cleanly he'll listen to the fans and do so (and give us more exciting fights by doing so).

Look at both Castillo-Corales fights. They fought on the inside for almost every minute of every round and there were ZERO clinches in both fights. Why would Castillo clinch now? It's obvious that it was Hatton doing the holding.

Ricky is a great guy and anyone who listens to an interview or meets the guy and still hates him is biased for some other reason. You cannot listen to him and hate him unless you dislike him for some other reason. However, I still believe that his last two fights had too much holding and hugging.

Ricky, if you read this, please stop tying up the other fighters and fight against them when on the inside.
