i count this victory for Hatton as much as i count Pacman's victory over Morales....Last edited by -Hyperion-; 06-24-2007, 10:51 AM.

Its difficult to tell how much of Castillo's defeat was due to ring wear and age, and how much credit Hatton deserves for a great performance.
All i know is Hatton desreves no critisicm.
Credit where credit is due.
People should appreciate such a great body shot, and look forward to future Hatton fights against big names.

Jayzus, British hooligans are like coppers - when you really need them, they're not around!
I think Maxie's head would look good on a pole.

Kellerman said the same thing you said in the 2nd round:
Kellerman: (IIRC) Castillo tends to get stronger as the fight goes on
Steward: Thats when he was younger, he looks like an old man to me tonight. I dont care what he did in the past, his legs are gone.

i'm not saying this in hindsight, i was saying this when the fight was first announced
the point of my post isn't to take away from hatton, i think hes a good fighter. the point is - the outcome was not surprising to me because i feel castillo was a shell of himself at this point.
The bottom line is noone has done that to Castillo before Hatton. If he was shot he has been shot before Hatton got to him and noone has done that to Castillo. It takes someone like Hatton to do it.
