It's funny how people enjoy the wars but look at the boxers after the wars...

Was Castillo a Shot fighter?

I was hoping that Castillo would did down and show some signs of his former self but he has shown the signs that he was shot prior to this fight.
After the Ndoujo (sp) fight I said Castillo looked shot. It's not that he just squeaked a victory against him. It was that in that fight he showed no snap in his punches, no hand speed (he was never blazing fast but he did have hand speed), he looked like he had lead in his shoes and he didn't show any upper body movement.
I said all this way before this fight.

I don't think Castillo is a shot fighter. But I do think all the trouble with lthe awsuit was messing up his mind - he wasn't as focused as Hatton.
The KO punch was similar to the one Humberto Soto finished Bobby Pacquiao with. Castillo was in severe pain.

I think I've never seen such pathetic excuses for boxing announcers, and i only wish that the krazy British boxing fans could have all heard how the little bug eyed junky was disrespecting Hatton after the fight so they could have stormed the ring and killed him. Hatton should have told little Maxie to **** himself, and I think he was on the verge of doing just that.

I think it was Hatton's speed that made him look shot - but I will say that out of those pathetic excuses for boxing announcers Steward is the only one that I have any respect for, and he said that Castillo didn't look good.
