yeah, hes way past his best days. those weight issues and the corrales fight really did him in.

hes still a force, still a decent fighter, and he'll give whoever he fights hell, but hes not the jose luis castillo of old.

Kellerman was a jerk to say Castillo isn't a shot fighter before the fight, and then saying he is shot twice after the fight (when interviewing Hatton, and again afterwards). Manny Steward was the only one with enough class to give Hatton credit for the win.

The win tonight was the result of Hatton's body shot, not Castillo being shot!

          Give credit to Hatton.

          He did KO Castillo.

          A good win.

I'm not shocked that this question is being asked.

Hatton beats Castillo, Castillo is shot, Hatton beats Tszyu, Tszyu was shot.

How about Hatton was just too strong for Castillo and delivered a great shot?

The fight was ended by an almost unrecoverable liver shot, Castillo is one of the most experienced fighters around, he's strong, he's durable and he is in desperate need for cash, therefore he was in there to win and lost simply because he was knocked out?

You get hit in that area with a hard and well delivered shot and its over, there is now way of developing that area of your body to protect against it.
It is a rare way to KO someone because most boxers don't throw shots into that area in the way Hatton does and due to the natural fall of the elbows the area is usually protected.

This fight had nothing to do with who was shot or not!

I was hoping Castillo looked bad against Ndoujo because he was rusty, but it was evident in the first round tonight that he wasn't the same. Credit to Hatton for taking advantage of it.
