      what ******ed poll options.

I enjoy watching him fight. Pretty much all his fights other before Baldomir have been actually very exciting, other than Castillo 2 and maybe 1 or 2 others Im missing or havent seen.

mayweather has only been labeled "boring" since the baldomir fight but ya on hes last 2 outings hes been very boring look at hes last 3 outings before baldomir
judah - judah was winning in every department until the 4th round and then for the next 7 rounds mayweather never put a foot wrong with a masterful display of both defence and counterpunching and as of this point in time hes last display of putting together the best combinations anybody in boxing has to offer.
mitchell - sharmba had arguablly seen better days and floyds camp doing the smart thing chose a natural junior welter whos campaigning at welter for floyds debut fight at the new wieght. floyd showed no mercy using hes jab combinations and a tool not much associated with flyod and thats body shots on route to a tko victory.
arturo gatti - gernaro hernandez aside this for me is floyds best display in hes career , buetiful crisp and powerful combinations and too much speed and dazzle for a shop worn but not shot arturo gatti.
overall is floyd boring? HELL NO

These need to be called the Mayweather forums. I am sure if he reads these he is flattered. No disrespect to anyone. Just stating the obvious.

I think Floyd is an excellent fighter. He has finesse and he is methodical, all of which I appreciate in a fighter. I think he needs to apply more pressure sometime and force a tougher fight but all the same, sometime it's worthless to tire yourself out just to prove a point, especially when you know your skill is stellar compared to that of your opponent.

If I were a boxer, I'd rather be "boring" and undefeated than aggressive and losing. JMO.

There's a guy on here and he has a quote under everything says and it tells all about your comment on Mayweather and the quote is
"Train hard fight easy" this is exactly why PBF makes easy work of his opponents he is just that much better than most of them.

My question to yall is why should PBF do more than what is needed when he is going to get the same result which is a WIN?

because he must understand that boxing is not a sport like soccer or baseball. people retire and thus that fan may never have another boxing hero. boxing doesn't have teams that people are loyal to throughout their lives. so if he is really great, then he should surely be able to fight forward too.

edit: as haggler said, boxing needs a hero. anyway he ran away from boxing cuz i think he is quite boring. look how rich the ww division is

I think it would be overly harsh to label Floyd boring - he's nowhere near the snoozefest category. However he isn't exactly going to be in many FOTYs either. I think I've watched every Floyd fight with an interested but not hooked feeling - the notable exception being Baldomir which was v dull. the oscar fight was ok, and I quite enjoyed seeing him destroy Mitchell and Gatti.

And to be fair to Floyd the DLH fight would have been better if Oscar hadn't gassed. It was Oscar's fault he didn't have the stamina to press home and perhaps get the win.

He's boring on the defensive... really really boring, even more boring than watching a snail move across the lawn.

When he's on the offensive... like VS Gatti or Ndou, he's exciting to watch... but that's not saying a lot.

                      I'm a Mayweather fan.
