Because he's all about the money, and exciting fights = more money.

      I'm a Mayweather fan.
Well thats because he is fighting way above his natural weight division.
He's fighting bigger guys and has to be defensive so yes it's boring.
Having said that there are plenty of other champions going round who are pretty boring too.

I think Mayweather's mouth is the most boring thing about him. All this "Cotto who?" and "Margarito ain't fought nobody" and "I'ma bust that ass" and "Pound for pound baby" is unsufferably tedious.

people who call pbf boring should remember that de la hoya can be boring aswel. look at the second mosely fight or the tito fight. and when he fought mayweather he didnt even try to win. he was content to get beaten and go home 20 mil richer

Imagine what he could have done to little Floyd if he'd actually put some effort in.

He still would have lost PBF didn't bring his A game and still won going away. For your comment earlier exciting fights don't always equal more money.

Ah, the mantra of the Floyd fan. Why is it always "he didn't bring his A game", "that was the best version of so and so that there's ever been", "Floyd was fighting 1 handed", blah, blah, ****ing blah?

You're reaching a little too desperately on the money comment. You know it's true.

By bringing his A game I mean De la Hoya didn't make him dig deep and bring out his best and he still won.
If constantly being in exciting fights always equals more money why aren't all these so called exciting fighter making the most money?

You should set up a poll about it if you're not convinced that Floyd would have more fans and make more money if he put on more exciting fights. I'm not wasting time debating something that's so obvious.

Ok PBF might make more money if he fought the way some not all some people want him to fight. But its not all about PBF there are boxers who yall consider exciting why don't they make the most money if they are so exciting and so called fan favorites? Like I said that **** don't always equal more money.

But look at this way does it make sense for a power running football team to switch to the run n shoot offense in the super bowl?
Boxing has gotten him to 38-0, P4P #1 in many peoples eyes, first ballot hall of fame, and many look at him as the best of his era.
Why in **** should he change?
