I've just restored mighty Leeds to their former glory and won 5 Champions Leagues on the trot in Championship Manager.

U know what, i couldnt hack that game, you have to play standard tactics to win, you cant be inventive and i think alot of it is fixed,

Probably the most addictive game ever tho, it actually upset me when i lost, my finest achivement was winning Serie A twice in a row with AC Milan on CM 2000/2001,

And i didnt cheat either, but at least i won something on CM.

Pro evo is more skilled, But CM is just as good and you have to be skilled in a different way, mainly knowing which players to buy and at what price etc.

You get the hang of bargain hunting after a while. I had a ridiculous attacking lineup at one point - Messi, Del Piero, Ronaldinho, Gerrard and Gonzales. Scored about 170 goals that season.

Had a bad season last seaon, lost in the SF of the CL, (after winning it 8 times in a row) we were 3-0 int he 1st leg against barca, i played a 2nd team in the nou camp and lost 4-0 lol.

Lost 5-0 in madrid in the 1st leg of the spainish cup, lol, out of that

I cant understand it, my second team is world class, but those were two freak results,

Otherwise its buisness as usual, i have won 14/15 league games this season with one draw, and have won 3/3 CL games and am through to the knockouts already pretty much.

But yeah Champ man is some deep ****, but isnt football manager better?

they guys who made champ broke away from eidos to make football manager apparently, and most people i know say thats the best manager game.
