    Before he retires...

Can't PBF fight just one guy, in one division , who's the best....not second rate nobodies..

Judah....he aint all that.....big deal ..look what Cotto..did to the guy...
If your retiring go for the money by all means......i would..
But if you want to be the best and go don in history ..go out fighting the best....

For example....I'd put Duran well ahead of PBF anyday, in a place in history of the sport......and he aint even in my top 5..(like the guy mind)....Having a operfect record means squat..it's who you fight...and to a lesser degree how you fought...

I really am not that impressed..If he wants to leave a legacy..Don't retire just yet because you ain't got one..

Knockouts. Period. You want to see knockouts, not boxing matches, but flat out knockouts. An example of someone doing just enough to win is Yuri Foremon on that undercard. Floyd never does anything remotely close to that kind of ****. The bottom line is you guys will fall in love with anyone who has power.
No, just guts. Ali never had serious power, but he had a yard of guts. And the simple fact is, Mayweather has power, good, solid power, when he bothers to set down on his punches, but he's too worried about getting tagged in return to bother with that, you see, because it slows him down a little.

As far as KO's go...yep, I like 'em, but not for the reason you think....I like KO's because that takes the decision out of the hands of the often fickle, blind, corrupt and ******ed judges who can **** up a fighters career with a moronic decision that is completely opposite of what it should be. If Floyd gave good shows, but never had a single KO, I'd still love to watch his fights.

You need to look at the competition and also consider how strongly he perfroms. Look at Taylor nice resume **** performances.

No Floyd chooses to outbox his opponent. Nothin wrong with that. Most of Floyd's wins are clear cut so blind judges don't matter. Floyd cares about one thing and that's winning.

No, you're wrong. He also cares about money, and his 0. But you're correct in that he doesn't give a **** about boxing fans.

He doesn't give a damn about YOU. He cares about his fans who like to see boxing clinics. If you want knockouts go watch Gatti. Gatti barely can be understood and he looks like ****.

How many times have Judah, Baldomir and De La Hoya been KO'd? Judah twice and the second time he wasnt really KO'ed as much as he was taking a beating. Baldomir i cant recall, and DLH is an easy one.

Look at the competition, hes what, 17-0 in title fights? Its already been proven that when you step up your competition its harder to knock guys out especially when your game ISNT power.

You're still missing it. It isn't about KO's, it's about facing an opponent, rather than showing you're fast and agile enough to stay away from him for 12 rounds. Sure, a KO is great when it happens, but it the only thing it really does is take the decision out of the judges hands. And I don't like to see brutal KO's at all, personally.

Anyway, Mayweather says he's retired. I hope so. The sport will be better off if he stays that way. You can keep having fantasies about him all you want, but as far as I'm concerned, I don't even need to think about him anymore. Like I said in another post, 20 years from now, I doubt I'll even remember his first name. But other fighters, who may not have been as quick or smart, I'll remember their fights round by round until the day I die.

Me? I like to be surprised. I like to see a fighter figure out his opponent while he's fighting him. I like to see him find ways to slip punches, and put leather on his opponent at the same time. I like to see beautiful counterpunching in answer to an overly aggressive opponent, brilliant feints, and to see a fighter time his opponent and take advantage of openings at the same time I see them and think "There's a hole, take it!". I like to see a knockdown happen not from a brutal punch from an overmuscled 'roid fiend, but rather from a perfectly placed and timed hook or cross right on the button, a punch that looks on camera like it barely touched the guy until you see him land on his ass.

Those are a few of the things that I like to see in a fight.
