Bull****. Winky beat an old ass Ike Quartey, drawed Jermain Taylor, and beat Sam Soliman. The best he beat was Shane Mosley, and Trinidad. Maybe Vargas. Floyd beat Castillo twice, Corrales, DLH, and Judah are the ones that stand out. With Floyd not active I put Winky #1. If he loses to B-Hop(which he will) then I put Pacquiao at #1.

Gatti wasn't a nobody , partly correct. He was destroyed by ODLH 4 or 5 yrs before floyd fought him and his last good win was back in 97 against Ruelas.

Your forgetting that Oscar is 5'10 or 5'11. Floyd is 5'8. People's bodies are different. Floyd trains like a beast and I'm sure harder than Oscar. Honestly DLH is a stronger and better big puncher than Floyd. Anyone with eyes knows who the better fighter is.

He managed to get the WBC title, and the fight was on PPV. He had to be somebody.

If beating De La HOya(the most complete fighter at 154) wasnt good enough then you must want Mayweather to kill jet li or something in the ring cause thats about as good as it gets.

I'm sick and tired of this bull**** coming up.

Floyd made these fighters look bad. He used ****ing skill, trained his ass off, got in the ring, did the job, and (in most cases) did the job well. For all the people dissing mayweather, how about you tell me your fighter and like the poster above we will analyze his resume? Surely nowhere near Floyds.

He won titles in 5 DIFFERENT weight classes. There is NO WAY on earth you can say that doesnt take skill, no matter HOW skilled his opponents may have been. The people he stripepd off belts they didn't have them for nothing, sure maybe they are not the best fighters the divisions have seen, but they are still ****ing good to be world champions.

How many title fights has floyd had? Ive lost count. Surely not every single one of them have been bums? I cant see how any of them can.. these are world class fights for ****s sake. How many times has he proven over and over again he wins these fights easy? Sure, I admit the Jose Luis Castillo fight was a loss, but he came back to avenge that. Oscar De La Hoya was extremely close, but it was edged by floyd.

It's not a question of who Mayweather has fought, or even that he's incredibly skilled and talented, or that his work ethic isn't what it should be (he is, it is). It's just that he refuses to take any risks. He's rarely stood in front of and traded shots with another fighter with the skill, speed and ability to put leather on him. He always plays it safe. The few times he didn't, he's had close calls, and put on an exciting show. I don't think anybody is saying Mayweather isn't as talented as any fighter ever was...it's his lack of "give-a-****" about the people who put the ****ing cash in his pocket. When you give a PPV performance like he did against Oscar, when you're getting paid MILLIONS by the people who love to watch the sport to give them a show to remember, you're just proving that you couldn't give a damn about anything but the money and the numbers.

And no, Leonard didn't beat everyone, but he sure as hell put on a great show in nearly every fight he was in. I'd rather watch a couple of no-name wannabees who'll show some guts and trade shots, than Mayweather in a big fight against a solid opponent. Sure Mayweather is slick and can probably technically beat anyone in a division he can fight in, but who gives a **** about watching another performance like he put on against Oscar?.

Just want to say one more thing here.....Judah, with his ****ed-up head, had the opportunity to do to Cotto what Mayweather does to everyone.... He could've stayed outside, jabbed, thrown the odd left, given angles, and would've most likely walked away with the decision. He certainly has the speed and talent to do it. Cotto is good, but he's a little one dimensional in that he works the same way in almost every fight, and someone with the speed and ability to stay outside and land a few shots here and there could take a decision over him. Judah chose to go for the big win, and it cost him, and I respect him for that. If Mayweather and Cotto fight (which I doubt will happen), Mayweather will win, and it'll be boring to watch. It'll also be an extremely overhyped PPV, and people will still be ****** enough to pay for it and then ***** about how boring it was. Not I. I bought the last Mayweather PPV, on the hopes that Floyd would be willing to make an effort to give the fans a show. After all, he did say he was going to "Anhilate" Oscar. Well, all I saw him do was wear 1/4" of tread off his shoes, and prove that his conditioning is as good as anybody's has ever been. Oh, and that he can land at least a few punches in every round, enough to get the judges to give him the nod. I've had enough of Mayweather, and even if his fights were all free to watch (if he bothers to fight again), I won't bother watching them. I'll just catch the inevitable decision on the news, or forums, and spend my time watching tapes of old fights that were actually worth watching.

And if you like to watch the way Mayweather fights, hey, good on ya. You probably like watching water evaporate, too, so you'll never be without decent entertainment.

I think this post basically says what some of you,or what alot of you think the SPORT of BOXING is about.

Knockouts. Period. You want to see knockouts, not boxing matches, but flat out knockouts. An example of someone doing just enough to win is Yuri Foremon on that undercard. Floyd never does anything remotely close to that kind of ****. The bottom line is you guys will fall in love with anyone who has power.
