Cotto is an upgraded version of Chavez

Cotto was running from Mosley it was effective cause he was moving so fast but with his hands down and Mosley only half ass chaseing him, wtf was that. Cotto is a good fight but i just think he doesn't mirror the image of Chavez at one time i belive he was but through out the years i just seen him get sloppier. Don't get me wrong he throws some nice shots, he doesn't wing them like Mayorga but I think he is not practicing on his technique as he once was.

cotto is an upgraded version of chavez, more power and stronger though, although both have poor defense cotto's is better, he dosent take 4 punches to land one like the overrated julio chavez

I think you been takin too many of those drinks to that fat ass melon head of yours lol, if anything Taylor was like Judah, not Cory Spinks lol. Taylor's abilities and body litterally fell down a few notches after that first Chavez fight. But pre-Chavez, Taylor could be compared to Judah more then Corey Spinks lol, thats just disrespectfull. Taylor had that pop and uncanny ability to put his punches together. Chavez just had a granite chin and had the uncanny ability to beat you so bad that even your organs would bruise.

But Chavez isn't over rated, he's never been considered a Ray Leonard or a Marvin Hagler. He's rated as a devistating puncher with a solid chin, thats exactly what he was. Fighters who were evenly matched up with Chavez, would get smashed.

As for Cotto, he's fast and hits just as hard at wlterweight as Chavez did at light welterweight. I mean Cotto battled Mosley to a decision. But Cotto's chin might end up costing him. I think it's likely he'll lose by knock out before he loses by decision.

I can't think of a single aspect of boxing Cotto was better than JCC. maybe better jab and level of competition during their first 30 or so fights? JCC is the best fighter to come out of Mexico IMO.
