If this fight comes off (which i pray it does), i think pavlik would destroy jermain taylor. i dont think taylors punches will hurt pavlik, and pav will just let rip a collection of punches to knock taylor out. Taylors gonna have to hit and move in this one.

I picked Pavlik to TKO Miranda when most thought it was Miranda who was going to win, check my Miranda is overrated thread, I feel that this is one fight which will make Taylor look good, obviously majority of people will say pavlik should win, and I really like Pavlik as a fighter and I will root for him instead of Taylor because of his recent lackluster performances, but this is a fight I feel Taylor will win and will make it look easy/impressive.Comment

That's exactly why Taylor needs to take this fight. To get some of his credibility back, first of all by facing a real MW not Jr MW, and then Pavlik is going to bring the fight to him. He complained about Spinks running, well Pavlik won't be doing any running instead he will be doing a whole lot of punching. Pavlik will make Taylor fight and either we'll see Taylor rise up and show us what he is all about or wear down from the pressure of Pavlik. I hope this fight takes place and a deal gets done soon.Comment

Taylor will rise to the occasion. But soon Taylor should move up in weight...in my opinion. Either way, I think he will be too much for Pavlik if they meet.Comment
