That should do.
In the case of Calzaghe vs Kessler, my opinion is based on the fact that Calzaghe has beaten better quality of opposition and Kessler is fairly unproven. Whats more, I think that Kessler has a jab one-two style that Calzaghe will not find difficult to counter and out-match. I dont think that Kessler will be capable of out-working Calzaghe and as such he'll be eating sloppy combinations all night long. He hasnt faced anyone with similar levels of power to Calzaghe and his propensity to eat shots (as demonstrated in his previous fight) suggests that if he continues to do so, it wont go to points. Calzaghe on the other hand has shown throughout his career that he can handle some very hard shots.
Thats my point they are great fighters, u still think calzaghe is a 'truly great fighter' if you think taylor's 'running' from him?
What is so difficult to understand about this? Its not nationalism, its just common sense.

My point is that if Calzaghe beats Kessler (thus unifying, clearing out his division, defeating his second 'highly rated punching machine', thus defending his title for a record number of times with one of the longest title-reigns in boxing history) and then beats Hopkins/Wright and Taylor (two or even three fighters high up the P4P list) and then retires undefeated, then yes...he deserves to be considered a truly great fighter.

Dont believe the hype, you know what i mean, i think someone read a little thread about themselves the other day and has taken themselves very seriously.
One min your mr logical, next mintute your trying to be a 'flamer'
And about your intellegence, i really dont think your uber-intellegent, or even close, you just use a couple of big words and form sentances which have very little to do with boxing,
Like when i 1st came here and you told me Joe Calzaghe is better now, than James Toney was then, that was the time when toney was pound 4 pound number one, lol.
So think about that, cos i can go back and forth with you all day, this aint an act or some internet personality.
So read that, then im gonna answer your above post, need to do summin 1st.

I am simply responding very directly to what you post.
I really wouldnt consider yourself to be in any position to claim someone is attempting to 'flame' you, based on the fact that the poster you're in cahoots with in this thread isnt even making the vaguest attempts to discuss the subject matter.
I am in no way claiming to be uber-intelligent. I dont like writing in slang or in 'text speak' or 'net speak'. Its a bad habit to get into. I am a writer, you'll have to excuse me for having a good vocabulary, I never realised that it was something to be criticised over.
Furthermore...I never claimed that my boxing knowledge was fantastic. Hence why I generally stick to arguments of a sensible nature, rather than ones involving deep-rooted boxing history or specific subject knowledge. It is common sense to say that Calzaghe finishing his career by defeating two of the best P4P fighters of the millenium so far would make it a fair call to consider him a 'truly great fighter'.
Now, I know that you will go round and round about this all day. Despite the fact that I've stated quite clearly that its my opinion (something that you seemingly dont like anyone but yourself having) and have backed it up with inarguable logic. Same as I know that your pal will go round and round all day making the same lame gags about Sunderland being a 'backwards' city, probably making base-line japes about my family and most likely trying to dig up some dirt on me, to what end and purpose I have no idea (something which I have always avoided in any debate I've ever had on any forum ever).
Personally, I'll happily stick with how I have always acted around here since I registered. Again, thanks for the advice though, maybe you ought to look a bit closer to home as your behaviour on these forums as the imperious boxing expert whose opinions can not be debated and protector of the unpopular members of the board.

Or do i need to go back and re-quote you?
Millenium? lol, its only been 7 years, 2000-2007 although your tried to word it to make it look like its been the full 2,000 lmao.

Ive got nothing against you, a couple of days ago you said you were leaving a thread, 5 mins later i see you coming back in the lounge and making comments about me, you knew what would happen, and it happened, no conspiracy mik.
You DO take this seriously, or you wouldnt be throwing allegations around that myself and someone else are 'trying to dig up dirt on you'
Im trying to be nice to you cos i think you a good guy, i never held a grudge against you, ive given ya good k and i nearly always reply to your posts, so i dont see what your problem is.
I dont think i have comminucated once with anyone but you in this thread, i dont do ganging up, you know it, so handle your business.
