Aye. I have serious doubts that Palle can back up this offer.

I had mixed emotions when I read this, this morning.

        1. Calzaghe V Kessler is finally happening (can u believe it)

        2. It's happening in September , which is the month of my 18th birthday, wat a present.

        and finally the downer,

I can't go ****in see it as its in Denmark, wat a ****in' gutter, no way am I going to pay all that to see it, although it is tempting.

But happy for Calzaghe and Kessler if this is actually a done deal.

Will look forward and bet it will be a great fight.

Hope it is after Sept 18th which is my 18th birthday, so I can bet on it at the bookies

            Are you serious £40.

This is starting to sound like a plan.

palle made an offer of 5 mill dollar and warren then made 5 mill offer himself, and then pulled the offer and said 3 plus percentage of the gate.

now warren is saying, palle offered 5 and we will take it, lets se what will happen when they are really getting down to seroius business talk..

at the moment palle is hospitalized and therefore hasnt been able to do serious business, and i cant see why warren already is saying he has bad feelings as he havent heard from palle.. let the old man get well, and then do business..

someone asked about ticket prices, this is no guarenteed estimate, but the cheapest seats will be around 20-25 pund sterling.. and i assume we would be talking about 40000 seats available, so if it happens its going to be a huge event..

Hopefully Palle will back up his almost constant words on this now.

If we're waiting for Palle to get to the peak of mental and physical health, Calzaghe will be around 70.

If Palle made a serious offer before then all the necessary work surrounding that should already have been done, so it would be a simple exercise to draw up the paperwork. Of course it could have been total rubbish and he's been found out for the two-bit amateur with a loud mouth that he actually is.

If this indeed gets signed, Calzaghe has won even before stepping through the ropes. He almost makes this a no-lose situation, as he takes a challenge that many are saying he's been running from and on the road in the other guy's backyard no less.

If he loses a close decision, he may end up gaining stature in the US and globally. If he wins, forget about it...you have to start talking about him being the best 168 lb. fighter ever.
