You are really grasping at straws now. Did you even bother to do researhc before you made that comment. Not only is the dollar worth less over there, but the seats are A LOT more than a Taylor fight. They made the tickets to Taylor-Spinks cheap in order to attract a crowd, and failed.

No difference at all. That was the price I was given for the first few rows. And tickets were going very high on ebay, since people were going nuts for tickets and the show was a sellout.

Well actually the fight was over in about 30 seconds, but nevermind, we had bobby gunn to look forward to next.
LOL. Your right why does Frank Warren feel free to comment on this like he gives the people good fights every time. The Calzaghe/Manfredo card was full of mismatches and a waste of time for HBO. I like Amir Khan, but he was in there against somebody that obviously didn't want to fight and just get the check. Plus how did Gunn even get a shot at Maccarinelli, many are to blame for that, but Warren let it happen. I know the Spinks/Taylor fight ******, but at least it was competitive.

And you believe him the same person that never fought once in the US.

I'm not sticking up for warrens matchmaking but Enzo Maccarinelli vs Mark Hobson 1 was a great fight which is why the rematch was made so thats not a great example and Maccarinelli did to Hobson what Taylor should've done to spink in the 2nd. You can't honestly tell me you don't think warren has a point on this one? It was a horrid fight.

Calzaghe brings out crowds of 30K+ to watch him fight bums. Taylor has to fight him in the UK because it's IMPOSSIBLE for the promoters and HBO to make that kind of money back anywhere else.
Wright turned down 5 mil against Taylor and Taylor was going to get a little more then Wright in the rematch, 6 million is not asking for too much, considering that Taylor has to move up up in weight and fight for the WBO paper belt against Cal.

Fans and the press didn't help the Taylor/Spinks fight, but still sold alot of tickets, it was a big arena and I say it was 75% full.

Like you said people were rooting for Spinks and guess what people in America will probably will root for Cal too, because Taylor is not really liked much.
