Yeah thats makes sense, he beat a former p4p fighter, two weight world champ, and the man many tipped to become pound for pound number one after hopkins and Jones finished in boxing,

Who Has Spinks beaten? Prime mayorga at 147 who KO'D forrest, (the guy who ended moesly's inviciblity) beats Karmizan who was a world class fighter, and decisioned a prime Zab Judah, then moves up to 160 to fight the undisputed champ.

    Yeah, Spinks is whack.

    lol.

I'm not saying that contract fall outs are totally one sided but you have to look at the history fall throughs that Warren has had with his main 2 boxers. Hatton and Calz didn't face a Champion till they EACH had about 40 fights. Hatton's first fight against a champion was Tzu. Calz first fight against a champ was Lacey (Calz initially won a vacant WBO).

So when Warren complains about it being tough to make a fight I say FU and cry me a river Warren.

Eubank was a far better fighter than Jeff lacy could ever dream of.

And we saw in the Spinks fight that Taylor can't even sell out a local arena. The arena was half empty with the majority of the fans there to cheer on Spinks. Calzaghe brings out crowds of 30K+ to watch him fight bums. Taylor has to fight him in the UK because it's IMPOSSIBLE for the promoters and HBO to make that kind of money back anywhere else.

How much is a front row seat to a Calzaghe fight? Compare that to the price for a ringside seat to a Taylor fight. That's why fewer people show up...

Without Amir Khan on the undercard and a 15-fight undercard, there wouldn't be 10,000 at a Calzaghe fight

For 10 years he failed to sell-out the 5,000-seat Cardiff International Arena once

Hell, for the Delaney fight he sold 70 tickets - yes, 70!

Geoff you really know your stuff. Khan is a big attraction in UK, a household name, many people here talk like calzaghe alone puts people on those seats, more than half of the crowd would'nt be there if it was'nt for Khan or some really good undercards.

Might as well give Taylor's promotor the extra $1million even though he certainly doesnt deserve it. Just get the fight made.
