Some people might. Watching UFC fights, seeing how some of these guys throw punches, I think think a lot of boxers could have a good shot at hanging inside of an octagon.

Boxing stance and MMA stance are 2 different things which leads to how they throw punch.

I'd say the MMA dude will back off and Haduken or Kame-a-me-a the boxer. He will then make a kung Fu grip on the boxers Nut which he will follow with a nose lock.

Ref stoppage by rear neck nose choke and nose bleed.

                    100% agree.

But the Bashign has to stop. Both sport can co-exist. Us boxing fan don't need to bash them.

We seriously have to get real...

What does imagination have to do with you not knowing what the hell you're talking about? The grappler isn't going to fall, he isn't doing a ****in flying tackle you ******. If he's going to be on his knees from the takedown not sprawl, he will still be close enough were the boxer can't light him up with a 1-2 combination. Seriously, you're hella ignorant. You keep imagining that takedowns can be seen a mile away and that they're slower than hell. People who have about a college or better wrestling experience can close distance instantly. They get their hands behind your knees and sling you to the ground instantly. If they know you're going to sprawl, they'll fake the takedown so you sprawl too early, and now you're underneath them in a powerbomb position.

Dude, here is some useful advice for you, just because you can defend against your little buddies takedowns while you're play fighting, doesn't mean you can defend against an Olympic caliber or even a collegiate caliber opponent's takedown.

Take a seat *****, and fade into the background with your mentally challenged perception of fighting.
