      Hatton

These are not facts at all, how do you know he priced himself out of fighting Mayweather, I don't believe a word he says he just talks **** the majority of the time. Hatton would fight him if he got a fair price no doubt about it.

When did he say he would fight Witter, I have never heard that, he has said if Witter built his profile up and maybe a convincing win over Harris may do that then the fight could happen. Hatton has said he wants the big money fights, Witter does not fit in that bracket in terms of HBO do not fancy the fight. Hatton would beat Witter, there is no doubt in my mind

He said he had a cold before the Urango fight not the Collazo fight, yes he said he had a problem with the weight in terms of they were preparing to fight at Light Welter on HBO but when a fight could not be made, HBO said what about Collazo and they took it even though his trainer Billy Graham thought it was not the right move.

Why the **** would he give Collazo a rematch, he won the fight in my eyes it was definitely close but he won. Also remember fighters do not make fights, they can say who they want but if the deal ain't right or there are better options you move on, he has been there and done that no point going back there again.

He does not always use spoiling tactics that is ****e that has just been built up over his last 2 performances, I agree they have not been good but with Urango you ain't gonna knock that kid out, he has the neck the size of a tree trunk. Hatton to beat Castillo by Unanimous decision.

      1) He priced himself out against Mayweather.

      2) He said he was gonna fight witter, now he says he will never fight him.

      3) He said he felt more powerful than ever at 147, when he nearly lost, he said he had a cold and nearly had to pull out, then said the weight didnt suit him.

      4) He said he would give collazo a rematch, then went back on his word.

      5) He consistenly uses spoling tactics and illegal tactics in the ring.

      6) I like skills, he cant block a basic right hand lead.

      Nothing personal, just facts.

Firstly, Ricky Hatton fans don't overhype him at all. Ricky is a brilliant fighter when on form..he hasn't yet found his feet in America and has had two poor performances yet he still beat the Welterweight champion in Collazo then went back down to 140 and beat the jrWW champion in Juan Urango..despite having two below par performances he has still won two world titles. I think that says alot about Ricky's boxing ability.

Secondly, Ricky beat ' the man ' at 140 in Kostya Tszyu and then unified the titles in knocking out Carlos Maussa. Since the Maussa fight he went to America moved up a weight and fought the WBA champion who is a tricky slick southpaw who Ricky has always struggled with

Thirdly, As I said Ricky has been poor in his last couple of fights and has been hugging a bit too much. Against Urango there was a rumour that Rick has a bad chest infection and his corner just told him to hang in there.

Fourthly, Are there any links to prove that Ricky turned Floyd down 3 times? I don't think so, He has turned the Floyd fight down once because he wanted to find his feet in America and build up as much of a reputation over there as he has in England before fighting someone so big.

Fithly, for the 7.06% who voted ' I don't like him because he's British ' - get a life. Hatin' on someone because of their nationality is pathetic.

And finally, I'm expecting Ricky to rip Castillo a new *******. All these haters on here who have posted **** about Castillo will beat Hatton..I look forward to digging out some of them quotes because there coming back to haunt you on June 23rd

I dont really dislike him but I picked the Mayweather thing because he wont shut the **** up about it and he didn't make it happen when he had the chance. He best keep Mayweathers name out his mouth till he is done with Castillo because Castillo is no slouch and might leave Hatton with a lump and a loss.

                    2) He said he was gonna fight witter, now he says he will never fight him.
I can address this point: Hatton made a comment that he would fight Witter if Witter improved his profile. Witter went some way towards this goal by winning the WBC title, but by that time Hatton was set to fight Urango. Then the next fight Hatton got was against Castillo who like it or not is a much bigger name than Witter. Add to this the fact that Witter's fights have been largely pretty bad, Junior still isn't the number one choice at 140 lbs. As of now should Rick get by Castillo the next biggest name would probably be Malignaggi, at least in North America. Put it this way, did you see all the threads about Malignaggi following his win over N'Dou? Did you see how many threads there were about Junior Witter when he successfully defended against Arturo Morua?
