You sound like a someone who hopes the ****** religion takes over the world. It won't. I cannot see how anyone thinks it is o.k. for women to not be allowed to go to school, I cannot see having her OWN FAMILY kill her for not being a ****** at marriage. Or forcing them to walk behind the men in something like a sheet covered head to toe in 100 degree heat. If one life is as valuable as another, as you said, why treat the women of their own country like dogs? Is THAT what a ****** man like yourself believes? Are women nothing but servants to you? You seem to side for the *********s - I say if that is the case - go back to the desert and make yourself a martar, because it sounds to me like you don't deserve to put on a U.S. Military Uniform. One thing is for sure, if the fight comes here - I will send as many of those ****** ********* scumbags an express ticket to meet their allah as I can...

For one, im from the united states, lived here all my life and that school of thought comes from usually the most extreme ****** factions which i dont belong too. For two, most of what you typed is so ignorant im not going to bother responding to each point because it serves my very little purpose, since you have your reservations about my religion in the first place.

For two, im a westernized ******, i beilve in a secular government, i dont support using the Sharia as law, and i definately dont think women shouldnt go to school and have the same rights as men in terms of education and daily life etc.

I never said i wanted my religion to take over the world, i never said any of the above **** you said, all i did was make a point that

    PEOPLE

    ARE

DYING. And i guess the fact that i sympathize with iraqi civilians who are just dying in the street, who have no gun, no dynamite on their body, and are just bystanders in a war, i guess all of the sudden that makes me "not worthy enough to wear a US uniform"? If thats the case, id hate to think of who you think is worthy to wear it.

Thats another thing I don't understand. If your going to bash the USA and have more sympathy for countries that hate us then why live here? I hate people that love the freedoms they have but don't support the people backing them up!
Maybe because they have it BETTER than we do? Maybe because we live a life of luxury here while we step on other countries virtually powerless to have a voice? The gas i put in my car, someone had to die for it, or someone is being opressed to get it to me. The Nike shoes i got on, someone suffered in a sweatshop and is likely being worked to death for shoes they could never own that i purchased.

Do you see where im going with this point? You ****ing people just think anytime someone expresses dissent for our government that somehow we love another country more than we love our own. Innocent lives are innocent lives, so because i beilive that, somehow i dislike my country and i should leave? Thats always the argument among people who cant take critisicm of how we run things sometimes "if you dont like it leave". If i didint love my country id pretend that the **** were doing is ok, and that ill just stay uninformed and just pretend the **** is ok. If i didint love my country i wouldnt use my right of freedom of speech to express frustration over a war I FEEL we shouldnt be involved in.

Seeing as how i am a black man and just 45 years ago i couldnt even go to the same bathroom as a white man, and many people died so i could have the rights i do now, i appreciate them and im going to use them. So dont ever accuse me of somehow not loving this country because i sympathize with dead innocents.

It would have been better had he said that both are heroes. How did you feel about him saying this?
Atlas probably stated that soldiers are heroes cuz they risk their life with such a low pay while the people you mention are getting paid million dollar purses.

Your right a great part about being american is being able to express your feeling towards the government when you think they are not doing the right things or making the right decisions. Just because people critisize the governement doesn't mean they don't love their country. BlackJesus is right if he didn't give a crap about his country he would just sit there and act like everything we are doing is right.

Exactly. And we could not tolerate WMD's with somebody who will sell them to the highest bidder. Hence the situation in Iran. Iran's president has stated many brow raising things. like Israel should be wiped off the map. And that he would "share" their nuclear technology to whoever he sees fit.

Here is what I have gotten from this thread:

All ******s are *********s, lets kill them all then suck G.W.Bushes ****. All ******s are *********s, lets kill them all then suck G.W.Bushes ****. All ******s are *********s, lets kill them all then suck G.W.Bushes ****. All ******s are *********s, lets kill them all then suck G.W.Bushes ****. Wow, now that is awfully ridiculous. It is a good thing that our founding fathers were willing to speak out against the government, otherwise there would be no United States of America. Good thing the lot of you weren't in charge. We would still be an English Colony. Don't speak out against the government! Don't say the soldiers are wrong to kill and torture civilians! There are no civilians in war! Taking so much pride in death, merely because the person is not of the same orgin as you.

I am glad that I am one of the few who still question. Without people like me we would not have a democracy. Though since Gore won the popular vote in 2000 I guess we don't even have that anymore. I go to rallies because I give a ****. WTF do you *******s do other than tell people with opposing view points that they are unamerican and that they should leave. What the hell does that solve? NOTHING!

a hero is someone who sacrifices their life, freedom or peace of mind for others or for a worthy purpose. Soldiers or heroes, boxers are just men who are working to eat.

I am not sure anybody has mentioned it, but athletes can be heroes, just look at Joe Louis (WWII) and Jesse Owens (Hitler Olympics).

Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling II

Looks like Jesse is the only one that knows how to salute properly

Boxers and Athletes etc are not heroes in the sense they fight so that you can sit in your house on a computer and type your opinions without fear of being dragged out in the street and hung by your balls with your hands chopped off.
