I'm done with you, please continue repeating the same garbage so I can have another good laugh mother fanker.
While you are laughing, you still have to mention any of taylor's skills.

I already mentioned his decent jab, can you add anything on top of it?

I already wrote a list of suggestions in a previous post. See if you can find anything to your taste.

I think it looks more like I am done with you, since you are just unable to mention any particularly good skills Taylor has, after stating that he is better than Hatton or Rafa.

Cory Spinks - Ranked #1 champion 154 pounder by Ring Magazine
Kassim Ouma - Former ranked #1 champion 154 pounder
Winky Wright - Ranked P4P #2 by Ring Magaine
Bernard Hopkins - Ranked P4P #1 by Ring Magazine
Bernard Hopkins - Ranked P4P #1 by Ring magazine

Daniel Edouard - Undefeated Top 10 middleweight who knocked Willie Gibbs better then Miranda ever did.

William Joppy - Top 10 respected middlweight, former middleweight champ.

Raul Marquez - The first man to ever KO Raul Marquez was Taylor, another good fighter.

In his last 8 fights, Taylor has 7 wins and 1 draw against Winky Wright.

Oh yea mother fankers, I don't want to hear he's beaten smaller guys, it's only 6 pounds difference, **** any mother fanker can gain 6 pounds in one day.

I don't want to hear from the bitter Bitchnard fans, your man clearly lost, get over it mother fankers.

Winky Wright fans can still talk, because that was a draw, a fight that could've gone either way, I had no problem with a draw or a victory for Taylor or Wright, this is the only fight in Taylor's resume you can question that he either lost or won, I think the draw was good. Lets not forget Taylor tried to fight Wright twice, both times Wright turned him down, Wright turned 45% which was 5 million dollars. Don't blame Taylor for not trying to make the big fights.
Very nice, I agree with you about Jermain Taylor. I think if he moved up or down in weight he would be a force wherever.

I bothered answering the other post before reading this one, you are a joke.

Rafa and Hatton are both MILES ahead Taylor in terms of skills.

Both of them, and that includes Hatton... who is able to take the fight where he wants.

        What is Taylor's skill?
is it running out of gas if he throws more than 3 punches per round?
or is it leaving himself open to all sorts of counters?
or is it his lunging everytime he throw a straight shot?
or is it not being able to take the fight in any part of the ring his opponent does not deeply desire to be in?
or his special ears, which allow him to not hear what his trainer is saying?

or is it getting gifts because he is HBO baby?

Real soon you are going to start answering with your ****** smilies because you ain't got anything relevant to say, as usual.
there is no way you seriously think Ricky Hatton is half as skilled as Jermain Taylor.

[QUOTE=DiegoFuego;2378584]there is no way you seriously think Ricky Hatton is half as skilled as Jermain Taylor.[/QUO]

          I am dead serious.

I explained why in a later post, I will repeat it here.

Hatton has a way better ring generalship, Hatton can throw with angles, he is very good on the inside, he can cut off the ring and take make fighters fight at the distance he likes. Even his clinching is done with a purpose, which is well served.

I am really surprised by Taylor last displays. Ouma and Spinks.

When he fought Hop the first time I thought, ok it's hop, most fighters look like amateurs against hop, even if hop was 40. Taylor still did a lot better than say eastman, so I figured that he would blossom. He was protected as a pro but he had his amateur career to make me think.

Then comes Taylor's second fight with Hop, where I picked taylor to win, because it was very clear to me that hop could not deal with activity. If the judges did not gave it to hop the first time, they are not going to give it to him after a performance which I was sure had to be worse because of aging.

I expected Taylor to be way more convincing, let's say I expected +10, instead I got +0.5 and the first of a series of half-ass performances.

It is beyond me why Taylor gasses out, why he lunges when he throws, he forgets his defense. He seems greatly conditioned but then, well we all know.

The Wright fight was finally an improvement, although I had Wright winning. Taylor was fighting in an assertive way, he was hitting a lot of leather, but I liked the fight.

So far I was not impressed with taylor (On MY scorecards he is 1-1-0 with Hopkins and 0-1-0 with Wright, but it is Hopkins and Wright), but he was obviously not a joke. It was really hard to compare him with other fighters p4p because no one else had fought that level of opposition in their last 3 fights, and nobodies before that. I basically gave him the benefit of doubt.

Then comes the Ouma and the Spinks fight, which is where I really have something to say. In his same position, Rafa, Winky and Pacman would have looked better, even Hatton would have looked better. I would extend that to JMM. He clearly beat Ouma, but I can only imagine what Rafa would have done to someone moving up in weight, actually I dont need to imagine, I can just go watch his fights. Same with Pacman. Winky would have pitched a boring shutout like he usually does.

Finally the fight with Spinks... Taylor ****** plain and simple.
if he was going to be gassed out, had he thrown more punches, I do not foresee an exciting future career.
If he was not throwing because he thought he would not land, just throw to the body. This time is not like Ouma: he barely got the job done. What can I say? go watch some Zab Judahs' tapes on how to look good against Spinks (ok judah is a lefty), put pressure on the guy, work his body, this guy was knocked down and out by a jr.welter.

When I saw Hopkins fight against Eastman I thought, if there was anyone a little bit better than Eastman at 160, Hop would be beaten. Therefore he was not my p4p #1.

Watching Taylor last fights, my tought is: Rafa, Winky, pacman, Hatton, calzaghe, jmm would all beat him if they were the same weight.

All of the above are clearly more skilled than Taylor, with the exception of pacman. But you know what? pacman listens to his corner, roach is managing to incorporate some other dimensions in pac's attack. Taylor does not seem to be getting better at all, quite the contrary.

I just read he might drop Steward, I dont know if there is going to be a improvement in taylor. If yes we will have a better middleweight champion, if not we will probably have a different middleweight champion.

Finally a note Hopkins, Calzage and Wright are all old people adn getting older. It is not a chance that they are fighitng each other.

I'm with you. Half as skilled? No. Twice as skilled? Probably.

I've been waiting a day and a half for someone to answer wmute's question - what "skills" does Taylor have? All I see is a jab, some athletic gifts and zero ring intelligence.
