taylor is not the top american, pavlik is. I don't understand why Pavlik Calzaghe hasn't happened. This is the one fight I would love to see...

competitive???? have you actually seen the fight, Hopkins ran and hid, he took a knee when zaghe wouldn't even low blow him.

Kessler was actually IN the fight for the first 4 rounds, he was winning, scoring some great uppercuts on zaghe, until zaghe changed his gameplan.

For one, the scorecards were all close at the end of the fight. Also, a lot of people thought Hopkins won. Only the Brits, who are clearly blinded by their bias, actually thought that was an impressive, dominant performance...

It wasnt an impressive performance because Hopkins spoiled any chance of a fight breaking out.

How does one win a fight by grabbing, clinching, headbutting and pretending to be injured?

When has a brit actually said that, I didn't. I'd like a quote please.

Hell even Calzaghe said it wasn't a good performance by him.

You just said yourself the fight was not competitive. When fights are not competitive, that means someone dominated. The reason Calzaghe didn't have a good performance is because Hopkins threw him off his game. And a younger Hopkins who could still go a full 12 rounds would have beaten Joke easily...

I said it once. In my opinion Calzaghe won clearly. If you rewatch the fight it is almost ridiculous the way Calzaghe is constantly going after Hopkins throwing punches at him. No-one ever, not even Jones, even tried to treat Hopkins threat with so little respect.

Hopkins did a good job of spoiling for sure, but he did nothing to actually win the fight.
