    A good jab neutralizes speed, as DLH showed us briefly during the Mayweather fight. Taylor owns one of the best jabs in boxing. I would currently favor Calzaghe but I think it's a toss up. Taylor is my favorite fighter by the way.

          I think this thread should kill much of the assumption that Americans are radically bias toward American fighters. There has been quite a few Americans who believe Calzaghe would beat Taylor (including me), which shows that a lot of us simply see a boxer for what he is in the ring.
