I would love taylor to kill calzaghe. But i think clazaghe's work rate would be far to high for taylor to handle and if he has stamina problems like he did against ouma then clazaghe will slap him to death with the sheer amount of punches thrown.

I would agree with you had Taylor not beaten Hopkins twice. Although I scored the first fight for Hopkins. He also went the distance and competed well against Ronald "Winky" Wright, whether you agree with the decision or not, who is arguably one of the best pound for pound fighters in the sport (I have him ranked at #2). Hate him or love him, Jermain Taylor has the better resume and it would be extremely foolish to group Jeff Lacy in the same category as Jermain Taylor. There is NO comparison. What top tier fighters has Lacy beat? Nobody. Don't get me wrong, I like Lacy, but his game is littered with flaws and he has yet to showcase his potential against a respected opponent.

If the fight were to happen I do think it would be a good match though. I'm by no means declaring Jermain Taylor a winner by landslide decision or easy knockout victory, but I think as of right now Jermain Taylor is one step ahead of the aging Calzaghe, but I could be wrong.

It is just so obvious that the Americans would think JT would beat Joe. JT is a great champ. Joe is a great champ. It would be a good fight and should happen sooner rather than later. There wouldnt be much in it. If JT won it wouldnt be the biggest upset ever by any means of the imagination. But i myself think JC has a good chance.

I'm an American and I think Calzaghe would totally dominate Taylor so long as the fight happens before "father time" knocks on Calzaghe's door.
