I'd take Taylor. Not particularly a fan of either, but Calzaghe hasn't fought anyone really worth mentioning besides Lacy that would make me quick to pick him. Taylor beat Hopkins twice (even if some people believe he didn't) and drew with Winky, arguably the best defensive fighter. I don't think those flurries or work rate will work on Taylor either. He can hit hard and will be more than willing to throw down.
Americans think Jermaine Taylor can beat Joe Calzaghe

Okay, no i cant see the ref stopping it to be honest, could be wrong, his hands are brittle, i think if he wins it will go the distance.Comment

Frankly I'm tired of hearing about Calzaghe he needs to fight someone who's actually good. But don't care for either of them but with the quality of opponents faced I'll take Taylor.Comment

The ****ty thing with Calzaghe is that he is the one Brit that could actually beat the best out there and he simply won't. The other very popular fighter, Ricky Hatton, would get beat by a lot of good fighters. Joe at least has the tools to be great, but won't step up. I would pick him to beat most of the guys near 168.Comment

Id say Calzaghe wins. No stoppage though, and its not out of the question that Taylor wins. hes a tall guy and can improve. At this point, Id say Calzaghe outworks the hell out of him, wemi-wide decision.
This fight wont happen though....
