I got your point but my point was that you and others are being biased. You said who the **** was he to demand that he rematch those people immediately and I asked the same question of yall who demands that PBF fights those people. It is also known that some people have actually turned down fights with PBF for whatever reason. So its not like he hasn't tried to fight some of these people. Such has Hatton people saying he wasn't ready then Hatton priced his self out of the fight. Cotto's people said he wasn't ready. Mosley years ago priced his self out of the fight now recently before the De la Hoya fight he had a tooth ache and then he wanted to take a vaction with his family yet he could go and be De la Hoya's sparring partner. Its not all PBF fault as to why some of these fights the fans want to see aren't happening yet it made out to look like it is all his fault.

If Floyd is going to constantly being saying how he's the greatest and all that, he should fight top level competition. It isn't any more complicated than that. It's not rocket science.

Mayweather hasn't fought any serious competition at welterweight besides De La Hoya who has lost really 4 of his last 5 fights. It's not proven that he can even hold his own against the best in the welterweight divison.
You may not sing his praises but you don't critize his competition like you do PBF when in reality the only 3 good to great in their prime people De la Hoya ever fought was Trinidad, Mosley and Mayweather all losses. The rest of De la Hoya's competition was average to below or out of their prime. But he is the Golden Boy who took on all comers **** that ****. I am not saying PBF has done everything right but the hate and critizism he gets is way to much when other people who have done the same get so much more love and respect.

You still not answering the question I asked you. Who exactly is this so called top level competition?

The topic is not about De La Hoya.

I'll tell you that if Mayweather and De La Hoya traded places and De La Hoya was doing the same **** Mayweather is, that is, saying constanty how he's the greatest and all that and at the same time not fighting any top level competition I would do what I am doing now and saying if your going to say your the greatest, the best, whatever, you have to fight the best oppositon.

There's a difference between not fighting the guy at all and deferring a rematch to a later date.

There's 2 sides to every coin regarding those fights falling through and you'll never get fans of the fighters to agree as to the reason why, so don't let it get you down. I'm still not convinced that his ego / arrogance didn't play a significant part in the fights not happening though.

I'll never hold not fighting Margarito against him, or even Hatton really as they both decided to take different paths at the time. My main gripes with him are that he didn't go after Tszyu when he had the chance and the time-wasting fights against the likes of N'Dou,Brusselles amd Gatti. His current resume with KT added would probably put him in my top 30, or higher.

Floyd still has some work to do if he is going to be considered above a Ray Leonard or a Roberto Duran.

Trust me Floyd would have had a long night with the lightweight version of Duran!

Yes there is 2 sides to every coin and his arrogance may turned some people off from fighting him or made negotiations to hard. PBF would have beat the **** out of Kosta Tszyu because he would not have gotten caught by that punch that KO'ed Zab Judah.
