Previously Oscar's best was 1.4 Million against Trinidad.

When he fought Mayweather it did almost 2.2 Million.

This more than DOUBLED his fights against:

    Mosely II
    Hopkins
    Mayorga

Yeah, Floyd isn't a draw at all.

Like Floyd said. It takes TWO, yes TWO to make a fight this big

Your right, Floyd will now not step into a ring for anything less then 10-12 million which eliminates 99% of the fighters he could possibly face.

Besides Oscar, Shane Mosely is the only other fighter in the world where Floyd could recieve that double digit million dollar loot-thereofre that is the only possible fighter Floyd will fight.

If Paul Williams demolishes Margarito which is a BIG if do you think Floyd is gonna wanna fight him for 6-8 million? **** No! Do you think HBO can afford to pay Floyd the 10-15 million it would probably take to face the unkown giant? **** no!

I just hope that after Winky and Bernard get done boring the boxing world with their $50 feint fest that the winner doesnt call out Floyd because HBO is ****** enough to bite and that fight would do a signifcant number of buys and would have people asleep by round 5.

Sin, and everyone else needs to be quiet. You guys cant keep saying that. Its like Floyd says, there not selling this big despite him. Oscar is the man but if he fought anyone else it wouldnt have gotten near the record. Gatti is the man but if he fought anyone else then they wouldnt have sold out in 5 minutes like they did with Floyd. Stop acting like Floyd carries no part in this. Also, alot of people on TV & radio have admitted that they wanted to see this fight because they were fascinated with Floyd on that show.

People always rip Floyd but check his numbers. Dude's PPV's does better then anyone not named Oscar. He even does better or just as good as the Pac, EM, MAB, JMM group even when there fighting eachothe and Floyd is fighting an average guy. Floyd is the P4P best fighter out there, he's undefeated, his dad use to train Oscar, and people have extreme feelings about him. That sells. Oscar is the man no doubt but dont act like Floyd doesnt carry his weight with these numbers.

People still look at him like this is the same Floyd from 5 years ago and its not. He's far more popular now. A ton of people know who he is. Even people on TV talk about him like they know him and the crowd will cheer wherever he goes. Arum was going to give him 8mil to fight Margarito of all people. You think he would do that if Floyd doesnt sell?

Can floyd carry a PPV card on his back?

Im not talking about Floyd vs. Shane because Shane is just as poular...

A good example would be Paul Williams vs. Floyd Mayweather....can Floyd carry a PPV on his back like Tito, like Oscar etc?

              I dont know.

Mayweather did 415+ PPV buys against Judah and did 325,000 PPV Buys vs Baldomir, Now he has Oscar on his resume so I think his Superstar status increases, and after those 2.15 million PPV Buys, I think even if he fights someone like Williams or Margarito his fights will do above 600k PPV buys.

Above 600K is a binafide Superstar!

I think he will still hover in the 300-450 range...Floyd is being tagged as a defensive master amongst the general sporting public and I if that tag sticks I dont know how many 600K PPV's he will be selling.

                      You could be right though...
