Your correct. Like I said earlier, if Cintron trains in submission defense and works off the rust in his wrestling, he has alot better chance of winning in mma than Floyd would have.

But can they beat a non pro fighter with boxing rules?? Because they say boxing is a big part of their sport. Their just ducking me, I've tried to get in touch with them and they don't want any part of me.

Props to Cintron for accepting the challenge but he gets killed inside the octagon. If there's anything he got it's a puncher's chance! Well, he may have a chance if paired to C-level UFC/Pride fighters but against a MMA champ?! He'll just get his arms and legs broken man...

Fedor owns any current boxing heavyweight under MMA rules IMO. Hell, I even wanna see Nog submit the **** out of that fat slob Toney!

Prime Vitor Belfort/Wanderlei Silva owns RJJ/BHOP under MMA rules IMO.

Frank Shamrock owns (put name here) under MMA rules IMO.

        And vice-versa...

I don't think Cintron's power would be that big of a factor though, once he gets taken down he is done.

                OK, I don't like this.

Dana White is a guy with a boxing background. He likes boxing, and he has stated that he has no intentions to hurt or destroy the sport of boxing. He has said he wants them to co-exist peacefully.

If boxing ****s with MMA, our sport will not win. I hate to say this, but it is true. MMA has a lot of momentum. Kermit Cintron is not a big name, and the general public will not even realize it if the UFC ignores him.

What if the UFC instead accepts James Toney's challenge to fight Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell? They would much sooner make that fight, and then one of boxing's most colouful characters would get beaten. I don't like this at all...

Very ballsy move by Cintron though, props to him.

Even a good amateur boxer would win in boxing rules. I admit that. Look at this analagy: Randy Moss is a very fast wide receiver in football. Running is a part of football. But even he would not be dumb enough to challenge a sprinter to a race in SPRINTING and expect to win.

I take this **** pretty seriously so if Cintron does this he better do it representing the sport, and he better KTmotherFO.

You can see the angle though.. He's name gets big off this if it goes over..
