now that theyre merging it will be all better but I still respect world class boxers more than any athlete, and if you dont, you should. even if you practice mma. cuz world class boxers are the true gladiators.

props to cintron to officially make it public that he would take that kind of fight, now that is a fighter folks, someone willing to take on someone else at their own game................... even if it doesn't pop off, cintron just gained another fan right here for even considering taking the challenge, most boxers talk **** and try to discredit MMA, where as Cintron is saying make it happen. Cintron just expended from boxer to real fighter, mad props Kermit!!!

as far as Cintron taking the fight, i think if he does have previous training in wrestling and some MMA experience i'd give him a helluva chance, only thing thing is going up against the champ (sherk??) might be a big bite to chew, but then against any fight in MMA is dangerous even against lesser opponents.......

i got Cintrons back if he wants to go forward with it and i squash my previous negativities against Cintron from the past, taking this is called manning up, right on.

Boxing + Wrestling are good weapons, but adding kicks would be great. It wouldn't take long if you train under a "specialist" to teach you fast.

You don't have to kick high like CroCrop to be effective: the most effective kicks I learned were below the waist. Even all the flashy kicks you see in movies, I was told only to do them when (1) You have the guy badly stunned and (2) when the guy is stunned and you want to look good in front of a girl. Other than that, screw it.

You need to be well rounded in fighting to compete with the best in Pride; although if an elite boxer like Tyson in his prime could stand a great chance because of his quickness of his hands, combinations, and speed of foot to make up distance, plus his ability to take a hell of a beating.

I am rooting for Cintron. I hope he knocks the person out. He will go in there faster with his hands, better equipped, etc.

Much props to cintron if this happens and i hope he wins, I'm tired of all this MMA vs Boxing talk, I wont lie I watch the UFC because i like all contact sports but Boxing is by far my favorite, i have this dude at work allways talking about how MMA is better but like i tell him after Chuck retires then what? he's pretty much the only big star in the UFC their was Matt hughes coming up but look what happen, dont get me wrong their is alot of good fighters in the UFC But i dont see the next Chuck.

Uh...his wrestling experience is pretty much a wash against Sherk. Sherk's wrestling is light years ahead of a person that placed 10th in state during high school, that hasn't trained it in awhile.
