I watched the fight for a second time an hour ago. All I'll say is this, in my honest opinion Oscar did a good job. He made it competitive by pressing the action. I do believe that Oscar lost the fight by inactivity late in the fight. I have not actually scored it myself. I will soon. But I can't understand why theres alot of people online ****ting on Oscar De La Hoya and this fight. I thought it was a very good boxing match, not great, but good. I would like to see a rematch based on what I saw. It was close enough in my opinon to warrant a rematch.

i agree 100% with you....thats exactly what i think
yea rematch.. floyd fought his best .. i dont think delahoya fought his best.. he should of had floyd senior in his corner
I think the exact opposite. I think Oscar was in his best shape ever and fought as hard as he could. Floyd seemed like he cruised the whole fight. Oscar tried so hard and pressed the action while Floyd basically just stood there and took what Oscar gave him. In a rematch Floyd would kill him. I think part of Floyd's problem was that he was worried. I think for the 1st time he was worried about how his body would respond, was 154 too much for him, would he still be fast, would he have any power, would Oscar's power really hurt him. I think he found out that it was much easier then he thought it would be and he would be 10x more aggressive next fight and have no worries of Oscar

i agree, i was actually surprised that floyd didn't go to the body like he's used to doing. when floyd attacks the body, he does major damage. people talk about oscar's jab, but if floyd went to the body, seeing how many people claimed that oscar gassed out anyway, imagine how bad of shape oscar would have been in in the later rounds. floyd throws great body shots, and i know if there was a rematch he would throw more to the body. i was expecting him to do it this fight, but he really didn't work in oscar's body like i know i could have. i also believe oscar was in the best shape he's ever been in, in any fight.
