okey how many of you guys really think he is retired???

i heard that i am retired line to many times, and now it seem more like i will just take a long break then let see...

if its true that he retires and never comes back ...

it will be good for his legacy, but if he retires and comes back a lil bit later, tsk tsk that will be bad ...

Come on Diego, Oscar is a great fighter every great fighter sometimes uses excuses.

Floyd beat him 117-111 but HBO,ESPN,Boxingscene,BBC,*********,Maxboxing,Boxre c forums,East side boxing, all had floyd winning 116-112 UD.

Oscar had all the advantages thats why floyd's win looks impressive.

He was fighting a middleweight while he was a welterweight fight night, Oscar had size, Glove advantage, smaller ring, literally everything, the weight was a serious issue as well.

Floyd would have won more easily if this fight was at a lower weight because oscar outweighed him by 13 pounds...

I think floyd will be back in a few months (Probably around 14) to give losses to Mosley, Hatton and Cotto (If cotto gets past Judah)

Good information, how does this match up with the people who had it 115-113for de la hoya?

          Someone's got it wrong.

I listened to it on bbc live, richie woodhall had it 117-111 Pbf.

          lol

I don't care how a guy fights as long as he makes it entertaining and takes fights that test him. Mayweather's style, and his choice of opponents, does not make for exciting fights most of the time.

PS I didn't see the fight and never planned on seeing it. Margarito is the one opponent I want to see Floyd in with. For such an "easy" fight, he seems to go out of his way to avoid it.
So essentially you want to see Margarito get chewed up by Mayweather as he moves laterally around the ring and Margarito walks him down eating up power shots all night and looking confused and not knowing how to adjust because hes a ****ing moron in the ring with bad footwork and no headmovement. Then youd come on and complain about that fight too because its not "entertaining" and hes "running". Please.

117 -111 is ridiculous, just as bad as scoring it for DLH.

C'mon now, right between those is the correct score, 115-113. I can live with 116-112

If Oscar doesnt press this fight it would have been a track meet.
