Are the Mexicans adopting DLH for this one?

Ive heard how Mexican fans don't like DLH cuz he was raised in the U.S. and beat up an old Chavez. In the Vargas fight, they clearly favored Vargas as their representative from Mexico. Mexicans fans love to see fighters with heart and I DK if they consider DLH and true Mexican, so Im wondering if the Mexican fans out there will come out in full pride to support Oscar

I doubt it. In the newspaper here, he said he'll walk in the ring with the PR flag. He'll also have the USA and Mexico ones, but still, that alone I think is enough for hardcore Mexican boxing fans not to support him.

So do mine. I find myself telling peopel all the time that oscar owes nothing to mexico, and as long as he fought on the american olympic team bringing home the gold, and making his life here in america, i got alot of respect for him. Just because he speaks proper english and carries himself in a respectful manner doesnt mean hes a ****in Maricon or a *****, or a "fake mexican".
Vargas went on and on about how real he was and all he got was a real ass whippin

They said he was bringing out and Puerto Rican flag? If so, he is going to lose all respect from Mexicans. There is a big rivalry between Mexicans and Puerto Ricans when it comes to boxing.

Man, mexicans will find any reason to hate on someone. "Hes too light" "Hes too dark" "He speaks to well" etc etc. Its just like black folks, we always try to say someone is real, and someone aint real, if you speak like this, you aint black enough, you look like that, you aint black enough etc. I know what im saying aint gonna be too popular, but i find it to be very true in blacks and mexicans alike.
